MET 2026 exam centres will be released online at manipal.edu. Through the MET exam centres 2026, the candidates will be able to check the list of cities where the authorities will conduct the entrance examination. While filling out the MET 2026 application form, the candidates had to select their choice of exam cities in order of preference. Allotment of the MET exam centres will depend on the submitted preferences and availability. Candidates will be able to check the details regarding the allotted exam centre through the MET 2026 admit card. Q:   Which documents do I have to carry along with my MET hall ticket?
A: 

While reporting to the exam centre, the students will have to carry their MET hall ticket along with one valid original ID proof. Without these documents, the students will not be allowed to enter the examination hall and attempt the exam.

Q:   Can I change my allotted MET exam centre?
A: 

No. Students will not be able to change their allotted MET exam centre. Therefore, the students are advised to be careful while selecting their choice of exam cities during the application form filling process. Centres are allotted as per the preference.

Q:   Will the authorities accept digital copies of MET admit card at the centre?
A: 

No, the authorities will not accept digital copies of the MET admit card at the exam centre. All students will have to bring a print out of their hall ticket for verification. If the students do not have the physical copy of their admit card, they will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

Highlights of MET Exam Centres 2026

  • During application, the students will be able to select three preferred MET 2026 exam cities.
  • The exam cities should be selected according to preference.
  • Requests to change the allotted exam centres will not be accepted by the authorities.

Q:   Which identity proofs will be accepted at the exam centre for MET?
A: 

At the MET exam centre, the students will have to bring one valid identity proof. They are allowed to bring any one of the following – Aadhaa Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/School ID, etc. No photocopies of the identity proof will be allowed.

Q:   Why am I not allotted my preferred MET exam slot?
A: 

If students are not given their preferred MET exam slot, it may be due to inavailability of exam centre. They will be given their next preference. In case of any problem, students should contact authorities.

Q:   Is MET held twice a year?
A: 

MET is an annual exam conducted in two sessions to select students for BTech admissions into its participating campuses. Students have to qualify the entrance exam to be eligible for admissions. One or both sessions of the entrance exam can be attempted.

MET 2026 admit card will be released online at manipal.edu for all registered candidates. Before the hall ticket is released, the candidates are advised to complete the MET 2026 slot booking process, so that they are allotted their preferred exam slots. Candidates will be able to check their allotted exam centres, slot timings and more details through the MET hall ticket 2026. At the exam centre, the hall ticket and one valid original ID proof have to be presented for verification.

Q:   When will MET admit card be released?

MET 2026 admit card will be released tentatively in April (Session 1) and May 2026 (Session 2). Separate admit cards will be released for the two examination sessions. Students will have to download and bring the hall ticket to the exam centre.

Q:   Which login credentials are needed to download the MET admit card?
A: 

MET admit card is released online. To download MET admit card, students have to log in with application form number and OTBS password. Students will have to enter their date of birth as OTBS password for login.

Q:   Will I receive the MET admit card through mail or post?
A: 

MET admit card will be released online. Students will not receive admit card through mail or post. To download hall ticket, students will have to log in with required details. No other mode will be used to release admit card.
