ASRB NET Selection Process 2025
The selection process of the exam is as follows:
- Application: After the release of the notification, candidates need to apply online. The registration process includes registration, filling of basic details and online payment of the application fee.
- Admit Card: Successfully registered candidates are required to download their hall ticket online. The board does not send the admit card through the post.
- Exam: It is qualifying in nature. The exam is conducted in online mode. Candidates need to answer a total of 150 questions within two hours and each question carries one mark. There is a negative marking system in the exam of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer. The questions in the exam are asked from the subject chosen by candidates while submitting the application form. The level of the papers shall be of master’s degree and question papers are made available in two languages- English and Hindi.
- Result: Those who successfully obtain the cutoff marks are declared qualified for the exam. The ASRB NET-qualified candidates are able to apply for lecturer or assistant professor posts when vacancies are released by different agricultural universities.
