KSET Application form 2025 OUT: The Karnataka Exam Authority activated the KSET 2025 application link online on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in on September 1, 2025. The last date to apply is September 18. Whereas the fee can be paid till September 19, 2025. 

Candidates need to submit their KSET applications online. To fill out the form, General category candidates, Cat-IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB candidates and other states candidates need to pay INR 1000, and Cat-I, SC, ST, PWD and transgender candidates are required to pay INR 700. The payment will be made through online mode only. The KSET Centre, University of Mysore conducts the KSET exam to determine the eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor.

How to Fill KSET Application Form 2025?

Check below the methods to apply for KSET exam.

  • Visit at https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/
  • Click on the application form
  • Register for KSET 2025 by providing the correct email ID and password.
  • Fill the application form by providing information such as personal details, educational details, contact details and KSET exam details. “While mentioning their educational qualification they should mention their PG course as Passed or appearing as the case may be”, informs the official website.
  • Upload scanned images of photograph and signature in JPG format as per the below-mentioned specifications:

Candidates belonging to reserved categories also need to upload the relevant category certificate.

  •  Pay the application fee via SBI e-challan or through online mode using debit card/credit card/net banking or by State Bank Buddy e-Wallet payment. Remember, the application fee submitted by any other mode such as Money Order/ Demand draft / IPO, etc., will not be accepted. The fee is as follows

Note: Candidates who submit late applications during will have to pay a late fee of INR 250 in addition to the fees mentioned above. 

Once the fee is successfully submitted, candidates' KSET registration and the application process will be completed.

Submission of KSET 2025 application form hard copy

It may be noted that candidates must submit the hard copy of the filled application form along with the attendance slip to the respective Nodal Centers after two working days of paying the application fee. Candidates need to submit the printout of these three sheets of the KSET application form 2025:

  • Application form: to be submitted to the Nodal centre chosen by the candidate.
  • Attendance slips: to be submitted to the Nodal centre chosen by the candidate.
  • Admit card: to be retained by candidates.

The KSET exam is conducted for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Objective types questions are asked in both the papers. The duration of combine papers is three hours. Paper I is common for all candidates and consists of 50 questions whereas Paper II is subject-specific and consists of 100 questions.

The syllabus of the KSET exam consists of 33 subjects for Paper 2. Paper 1 is common to all candidates. Paper 2 is subject-specific and consists of subjects like History, Geography, Sociology, Commerce, Political Science, English, Hindi, Psychology, Social Work, etc.

The authority conducted the KSET exam 2025 on November 2 at various centres in the state. The duration of the exam was three hours. In total, 33 subjects were covered in the exam. The result is expected soon. Candidates will be able to check their scorecard at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The KSET aggregate qualifying marks for the General category are 40% and for reserved categories are 35%. Along with the result cutoff marks and scorecard will be announced. The cutoff will be released subject and category wise.

The KSET 2025 result will be declared soon at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The exam was conducted on November 2, 2025. The scorecard contains the details including candidates' name, roll number, total marks, subject code, qualifying status, etc.

Yes, the authority released the KSET 2025 admit card on the official website. Admit card is a mandatory document that needs to be carried at the examination hall. Without it candidate will not allowed to take the exam.

The KSET 2025 exam was conducted on November 2, 2025 in a single session from 10 am to 1 pm. It was conducted in a single day for both papers, Paper 1 and 2.
