PSTET Preparation 2023

Candidates must make a proper preparation strategy to crack the exam in the first go. Follow the methods given below to brush up on your preparation level for the PSTET 2023 exam:

Know the PSTET exam pattern 

PSTET is conducted in two parts, Paper 1 and Paper 2. The PSTET Paper 1 involves five sections - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Paper 2 includes Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and Language II and Mathematics and Science/ Social Science. Both papers contain 150 questions and carry a total of 150 marks each. The total duration of each paper is two hours and thirty minutes. The General and reserved category candidates need to score at least 60 per cent and 55 per cent marks respectively to qualify for the exam.

Go through the complete PSTET Syllabus

It should be the first priority of the candidates to go through the complete PSTET syllabus. Knowing the syllabus is the first step towards the goal of cracking the PSTET exam. Do not ignore any section of the syllabus as questions are asked from all topics given in the syllabus. Candidates should study all the topics with equal importance. While completing the syllabus, choose a book that lucidly describes the topics without unnecessarily making it complicated.

The candidates have to fill out he application form online on the official website. Other than this the application fee have to paid online.

The PSTET Syllabus 2023 is prescribed by the PSEB. The PSTET syllabus carries Paper 1 and Paper 2.
