Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2028

The college has value for money, great exposure.
Placements: More than 60% of students were placed in my course in the previous batch. The highest package is around 24 LPA, and the average is around 11 LPA. Top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, LEK Consulting, Nation with Namo, Accenture, and so on. The top roles offered by these companies are in consulting, finance, and as political associates. Students do get internships in my college.
Infrastructure: The hostel and infrastructure of Kirori Mal College are, I would say, very average. As a government college, it lacks infrastructure a lot. There is a lot of room for improvement. The Wi-Fi is available, but students don't get to use it. The labs are fine. I don't think they lack any necessary equipment. The hostel provides food and basic necessities at a very reasonable price. The auditorium is under construction.
Faculty: As an NIRF rank 4 college, it has one of the best faculty members. The faculty members are well-informed about their subjects. As a part of Delhi University, it has one of the best faculty members in all of India. I would say B.Com as a course is not enough to make students industry-ready. This course lacks practicality and is somewhat outdated.
Other: DU fests are well known in India. They are famous for their grandeur. I would say my course should add more practical applications.

Overall a good experience but it can be improved by making changes in the course.
Placements: Out of the batch of approximately 160 students, 40-50 students were placed. Top recruiting companies included Brain, LEK Consulting, Nation with Namo, Deloitte, EY, ZS Consulting, and Accenture. Roles were mainly around consulting, and the highest package was 26 LPA.
Infrastructure: Overall, decent infrastructure is available for my course, including classrooms, a library, and a computer lab. However, Wi-Fi is not working properly, which is really disappointing. I am not living in the hostel, so I don't know about hostel facilities offered.
Faculty: Most teachers are really helpful, but some are not. Every teacher is qualified and knowledgeable, though. Most content in the course does not make one industry-ready. A student must upskill themselves to be able to get a job. Manageable exams.

1st year perspective on KMC.
Placements: Around 70 percent of students who sit for placement get plac. The highest package was 24 LPA last year though the course wasn't revealed, the lowest was 4 LPA and the average package was somewhere around 7 LPA-8 LPA. Top companies are Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, and Amazon. Around 70-80 percent of students got internships overall the batch and not just from the B.Com program in companies mentioned before. Major roles offered are Business Analyst, Associate, Consulting, and Finance roles.
Infrastructure: In semester 1 the classes were really in bad condition but now they are renovated so it's better. There is no Wi-Fi at least not for us. We have proper lighting in the class with AC in a few classrooms and projector in few classrooms too. Each classroom has a whiteboard and a blackboard. The library is very good with a reading room too all books are in a readable condition. KMC doesn't have a girls' hostel but the canteen food is good leaving a few items and we have 3 canteens in total.
Faculty: Semester exams are easy since the questions are repeated so anyone can pass if they do the last 3 years' paper. Passing percentage is 40 percent in theory and 40 percent in practice. B.Com doesn't make anyone industry-ready. One has to dedicate time to skills. The teaching quality is good. Teachers are really knowledgeable and have a good hold on subjects. The only issue is classes get cancelled a lot but that is the case in the majority of DU colleges.
Other: KMC does have a medical room and the girls' common room has a sanitary pad dispensing machine as well. We have a boxing ring ( I never saw it being used), a volleyball court, a basketball court, and a gym so it's a pretty good campus.

It’s a decent mixture of all such things.
Placements: My course is B.Com prog, and the placement in our course is quite decent. I do not say that for all, but for those who are well in academics as well as in extracurriculars, they get good summer placements and the recruiting companies are like DE Shaw, Deloitte, and Nation with Namo, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: It is quite decent. I do not say that very well because there is a problem sometimes with Wi-Fi, but overall, the taste of food provided is good, and the infrastructure for most of the classes is good, but most of them are not AC-equipped. The medical facilities are, I think, good as well because I never use them, but there are the persons those are doctors who are always available in the medical room.
Faculty: Some teachers are, but at the same time, there are some teachers who create the attendance issue. The curriculum does not make the students industry-ready, but the skills they learn in society and in certain projects can be. When we talk about the semester exam, we can say that the more and more we come close to the last year, the difficulty of subjects keeps on increasing, but at the same time, the IQ level of students also increases.

A North Campus college you can settle for.
Placements: Around 40–60 percent of interested students get placed at Kirori Mal College, depending upon their course. The highest package is around 23 LPA, the average package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 3–5 LPA. These are the top recruiting companies: D. E. Shaw, Brain Capability Network, Amazon, Nation with Namo, Accenture, and Zomato. There were more than 870+ internship opportunities last year from companies like D. E. Shaw, Deloitte, Amazon, Times Internet, Arcesium, Nation with Namo, etc. Roles offered in my course are across business development, media, finance, and marketing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very average. Most of the area is under construction, e.g., the auditorium and classrooms. Though the classrooms and everything are well maintained, there is AC in the classrooms. The canteen of our college is good, providing affordable and good food starting from as low as Rs. 25. KMC also has a well-established sports ground with all equipment, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a boxing ring, etc. Regarding hostel facilities, there is only a boys' hostel in KMC, which does not provide good facilities, from what I have heard from my classmates.
Faculty: The teachers in my college are very helpful, and I feel the curriculum is designed well to fit the industry. Though a few subjects like skill enhancement courses and ability enhancement courses do not seem relevant and do not provide much knowledge. The semester exams are not that difficult, and most of the students pass by studying just a night before.
Other: The best thing about KMC is the surroundings, the societies, and the learnings you get from them. Participating in these societies gives you practical exposure, and the environment of KMC really supports these extracurricular activities.

Yes you can select that subject but it decreases your percentage so I don't think so to select physics.
