Overall good experience.
Placements: Around 40 percent of the students got placed. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest is around 3 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA-5 LPA. Brain Capability Network & Nation with Namo being the top recruiting companies. The roles offered are auditing, sales, consulting, and risk management.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The classrooms are well furnished, labs are well maintained, and the library has a decent reading room available, with ample reading space. The food offered is decent, and it has its own medical room. The sports ground is also well maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well-knowledgeable. The curriculum is not so relevant as per the industry standards and definitely needs a lot of improvements. The end-semester examinations are moderately difficult but can be prepared through past year questions.

An unforgettable journey.
Placements: While I personally didn't sit for placements, many of my friends and peers did. Many companies like Deloitte, KPMG, Varcity, RSN, Brain, and others recruited B.Com students. These were mainly finance, sales, and marketing-related starter roles. The average package offered to my friends was around 4–5 LPA. Some students receiving packages of up to 10 LPA. There was a noticeable downturn in the number of companies turning up compared to previous years. Some incidents led to the blacklisting of our college by prominent companies.
Infrastructure: Compared to many other colleges, the infrastructure for our course is average. It is not anything special, but also not lacking. The classrooms lack basic infrastructure, including AC and proper benches. However, the cleaning staff is nice and diligent. I didn't avail myself of hostel facilities, but I heard they were decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable about their subjects. They provide insights whenever needed. However, the course has many elements that, according to me, are unnecessary and burden both students and faculty, showing the drawbacks of NEP more than other factors. Exams are moderate, although the checking sometimes raises doubts, with a high pass percentage. The course provides knowledge but does not always make students industry-ready, often requiring additional qualifications.
Other: I chose B.Com because it complements my pursuit of CA, with many subjects having similar elements. The course provides a broad overview of knowledge related to various career fields. It gives students a starting point. I would like to see more practical and industry-relevant knowledge, along with better optional courses. The college event Nexus is one of my highlights from college and an unforgettable memory, being one of the best college fests in DU. The campus crowd is great and allows students to meet amazing people and make friends.

Satisfied because of faculty members, good placements, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: From what I have heard from the seniors the placements have been good. I'm still at the start of college and haven't had any placement opportunities yet, but from the reviews from classmates, it has been good, the companies are hiring adequately from the campus.
Infrastructure: Since I don't live in a hostel, I wouldn't know about the facilities, but from what I heard from my friends, the hostel had been decent. The mess is not up to the mark, also the air conditioning facilities are not up to the mark in such a heart in Delhi. So there are sectors for improvement.
Faculty: The faculty had been nice. The teachers are surprisingly quite helpful and provide continuous guidance throughout the year. The curriculum is fair, and surely helps in future industry and corporate-related jobs. The exams are easy and one is ready to pass when one is prepared.

Decent college for decent people.
Placements: According to my knowledge, many of my batchmates get placed in different companies. The highest package is around 15 LPA, and the average package is around 4–5 LPA. The top recruiters include Brains & Co. and McKinsey. In my course, almost everyone seriously interested in internships gets one with a good stipend. The top roles offered are Consulting and Sales.
Infrastructure: There is no specific department building for Commerce. Classes are held either in the new building or the old Arts block. Wi-Fi does not work properly in many places during the daytime. The library is good and peaceful, but its resources can be upgraded. The quality of food in the hostel is decent. The canteen food is sometimes good and sometimes bad, but most of the time it is good.
Faculty: Teachers in my course are not very helpful and give attention to only a small group of students. The curriculum is also not very good because the syllabus is basic and can easily be learned through YouTube. The semester exams for the program course are much easier than the honors course exams.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in Commerce. I want to pursue B.Com (Hons.), but now I am glad that I am studying in the B.Com Program because I do not have too much academic pressure. The college fest, Nexus, is one of the biggest and best festivals in Delhi University. The campus has good diversity. Students from different backgrounds study here. Connectivity is excellent because the metro station is just outside the campus. There are many societies that students can join to improve their skills.

One of the best colleges in the country for undergraduates.
Placements: I am a student of B.Com (P), and approximately 70% of students from our course get placed. The highest package for my course is 15.98 LPA, the average package is approximately 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.05 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Brain, Oxane, Nation With Namo, and Deloitte. The top roles offered are Analyst, Auditing, and Consulting.
Infrastructure: Facilities available for my course, B.Com (P), are pretty good. We have access to Wi-Fi in college. There are 4 ICT labs in the college, and maintenance staff are also available. Classrooms are equipped with projector facilities. The library has a vast collection of both academic and non-academic books. I am also the president of the hostel, and it has good facilities. Rooms are cleaned every day, along with washrooms. The rooms are very spacious. The only drawback is that there is no AC. The food quality in the mess and canteen is average. A medical room is available in the college. Sports facilities are poor.
Faculty: Teachers are professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They are well-qualified as well. The course curriculum is definitely relevant. However, it does not make students industry-ready, so they may have to gain some practical knowledge for that. Semester exams are really easy. The pass percentage is around 40%.
Other: I chose B.Com to gain knowledge to carry on my business. I think incorporating industrial visits will improve the course. Venky has one of the best fests in the entire DU, Nexus, which definitely gives students one of the most memorable days of their lives. Extracurricular activities are also pretty good.

It is a great college overall if you are from the commerce stream.
Placements: The placement at Sri Venkateswara College is decent. I would say it's not that great because it is mainly focused on commerce and economics courses. However, it excels in both these courses. The placement percentage is good. Some famous companies include Deloitte and BNC. Overall, for commerce, it is great.
Infrastructure: A decent level of infrastructure is provided by SVC. Being a government DU college, it is better than most other government colleges. The campus is also very good. The hostel is nice but has limited seats, allotted on the basis of CUET marks. It does not have AC in any room.
Faculty: We have a good faculty for commerce, with experienced teachers and staff. The curriculum is set from basic to advanced levels of business understanding. It starts from 12th-class-level concepts in the first semester. It goes up to accounting methods and taxes in the last semester.

Providing perfect opportunities for academic enthusiasts.
Placements: 51% of students got placed. The highest package is 12 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiters Big 4 - EY, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, Wipro, Flipkart, ICICI, Bajaj Capital, AON, DE Shawarma. The intership rate is 60-70%.
Infrastructure: Overall, Sri Venkateswara College provides a conducive academic environment complemented by good infrastructure and necessary amenities, ensuring a balanced college life for students pursuing B.Com and other programs. The hostel facilities, though limited in number, are well-maintained. They provide a decent living environment with clean rooms, basic furnishings, and common areas.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable. Most are Ph.D. holders or NET-qualified, and teaching is concept-driven and interactive, blending theory with real-world examples. The course follows the Delhi University CBCS curriculum, which is updated and relevant. It includes subjects like Financial Management, Taxation, Auditing, and Business Law. While it builds a strong foundation, additional skill development (like internships or certification) is recommended for full industry readiness.

We get all types of exposure here. Students will never regret it after getting admission here.
Placements: Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi is one of the most prestigious colleges. Approximately 30-40% of students got placements out of which 5-10% of students could get placed in top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, etc. The highest salary package offered is 19 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. The same happens with internships. In B.Com courses, the percentage of placements is comparatively higher than in other courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. It provides libraries, computer labs, auditoriums, etc. We have an open space canteen and the food is nice especially masala dosa. The canteen staff maintain hygiene. Our college promotes all sports. Medical facilities are appropriate.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and approachable. They are well-qualified to clear all our doubts. We get all the knowledge of the corporate world. As far as exams are concerned, they are moderate if students study before 1 month of exams they can pass easily. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: Venkateswara College is one of the best colleges. Seniors are helpful. The crowd is nice. It provides opportunities for extracurricular activities and big companies for internships. I like the food in our canteen.
