NCHMCT JEE Notification 2026 has been officially released. Students who want admission to hotel management colleges can now check all details.
NCHMCT JEE registration started on December 26, 2026. NCHMCT JEE 2026 application date is now extended till April 1, 2026. NTA shared this news on its official website. The registration time was increased so that more students can apply for the exam. All eligible students can fill out NCHM JEE 2026 form online at exams.nta.nic.in. NCHMCT JEE exam date is April 25, 2026 (Saturday). There is no update about any change in the exam date yet, but it may get postponed later. Students should keep studying as per the given date. This year, the number of exam centres has also gone up to 120 for students’ convenience.
NCHMCT JEE exam is conducted for admission to B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. This course is offered by institutes affiliated with National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT). NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a national-level entrance exam. The degree is awarded by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Candidates planning a career in the hotel and hospitality field must appear for this exam.
NCHMCT works under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. It manages academics for more than 80 institutes across country. These include Central IHMs, State IHMs, PSU institutes, and private colleges.

NCHMCT JEE Online Application Process

Steps to Apply:
- Registration: Use a personal email ID and mobile no to generate an Application Number.
- Form Completion: Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, and four choices of examination cities.
- Image Upload: Candidates must upload a recent photograph (10kb–200kb, 80% face visible, white background), signature (4kb–30kb), and relevant certificates (PwD/Category) in PDF format.
- Fee Payment: Complete the transaction via the integrated gateway.
- Confirmation Page: Download and print at least four copies of the confirmation page after successful payment.

NCHM JEE-2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet following requirements to appear for NCHM JEE-2026:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination (or equivalent). They must have English as a core, elective, or functional subject.
- Provisional Appearance: Students appearing for their 10+2 exams in 2026 are eligible to apply on a provisional basis. But they submit proof of passing by September 30, 2026.
- Age Limit: Following the New Education Policy, there is no age restriction for appearing in the exam.
- Physical Fitness: Qualified candidates must submit a physical fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of admission to ensure they can carry out the practical requirements of the course.

NCHMCT JEE 2026: Reservation Policy
Reservations in Central Government-run institutes are distributed as follows:
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%.
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%.
- OBC-NCL (Central List): 27%.
- General-EWS: 10%.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 5% horizontal reservation in each category for those with 40% or more disability.
Special provisions exist for Kashmiri Migrants and Kashmiri Pandits/Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) residing in the Kashmir Valley, with one supernumerary seat reserved in each Central IHM. For state-run or private IHMs, the respective state government’s reservation policies apply.
Provisions for Persons with Disability (PwD)
The sources highlight strict adherence to The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. Candidates with a "benchmark disability" (40% or more) or those with less than 40% disability who have difficulty writing may avail themselves of a scribe and compensatory time.
- Compensatory Time: This is calculated at 20 minutes per hour of examination (40 minutes total for this 2-hour exam).
- Scribe Facility: The NTA provides a scribe if opted for by the candidate in the application form. A scribe is only permitted to read questions and enter answers; they cannot explain questions or suggest solutions.
Candidates with disabilities must be able to perform essential course practicals, such as vegetable chopping, bulk Indian cooking, bakery work, bed making, and cleaning/polishing machine handling.
