National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NCHMCT JEE last year in an online proctored mode. Compared to NCHM JEE 2020, last year's exam was easier. Students who got in touch with Shiksha after exam said that exam was glitch-free and they could complete test smoothly. A few students faced difficulty in exam like server error, screen blacking out and freezing, login time expiration and similar issues.

NCHMCT JEE Exam Analysis from Previous Year

NCHMCT JEE exam was conducted on August 29 across 86 NCHMCT JEE test centres spread all over the country. There were no changes in NCHMCT JEE exam pattern or marking scheme for the paper as compared to last year. There were a total of 200 questions that aspirants had to attempt in 180 minutes duration. Total weightage for NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam was 800 marks. There was negative marking in the hospitality entrance exam.

Overall, NCHMCT JEE 2020 was easy to attempt and students were able to complete the paper on time. The section-wise analysis of questions asked in the hotel management entrance exam is mentioned in the table below.

The NCHMCT JEE exam been changing a lot till now. Before, it was done by National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), but later NTA started conducting it from 2019. NCHMCT JEE 2018	NCHMCT JEE 2018 exam was held on April 28. A three hours duration exam, NCHMCT JEE was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm across 33 test cities in the country. The questions asked in NCHMCT JEE 2018 were as expected and the test pattern was similar to that of past years’ papers. NCHMCT JEE 2017	NCHMCT JEE exam was conducted today, April 29, 2017. A three hours duration exam, NCHMCT JEE was conducted from 10 am to 1 pm. But this year, the exam was held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm across 33 test cities in India. There were no surprises in NCHMCT JEE 2017 exam. The test pattern was similar to that of past years’ papers. In fact, students went to the extent of saying that about 50%-60% of the questions asked were the same as the ones asked in past 10 years of this hotel management entrance exam.
