NCHMCT JEE has a simple dress code for candidates. This is to ensure a smooth entry process at NCHMCT JEE exam center. Key points of dress code are:

No, it is not compulsory to take the NCHMCT JEE to get into hotel management. You can appear in any other entrance exam to get into hotel management colleges. You can also pursue Diploma- and degree-level hotel management courses without taking an entrance exam. The following are some of the colleges available to you: 1. Q:   What are centers of NCHMCT JEE exam?
A: 

The NTA will release the list of NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam centres along with admission notification. The testing agency will inform about new addition to the list of NCHMCT JEE 2026 test centres as well. The exam will be held in more than 120 cities.

Candidates have an option to select NCHMCT JEE exam centres 2025 from the list of test cities while filling up the form only. The details of the allotted NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam centre, including the name and location will be mentioned on the admit card itself. On the day of the NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam, a candidate must report to the exam centre as per the scheduled time mentioned on the admit card. Since, the exam centre authority does not allow entry to candidates who are late. 

Q:   What documents do I need to carry at NCHMCT JEE Exam centre?
A: 

To the NCHMCT JEE Exam Centre, candidates must have a printed copy of their barcoded admit card with a current photo on it. They must provide a photocopy of their permanent or provisional SMC, MCI, or NMC registration, which is kept at the centre, in addition to their admit card. Additionally, they must bring an original photo identity document, such as a voter ID, passport, driver's licence, Aadhaar, or Pan card. If an electronic Aadhar card is brought to the centre, it must be a high-quality printout with a sharp photo on it.

  • NCHMCT JEE Admit CardCarry a printed copy of admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to exam center.

To ensure a smooth and successful experience on NCHMCT JEE exam day, candidates must follow these Do's and Don'ts:

Reach the exam center at least 45 minutes before the scheduled time to complete security checks and avoid last-minute stress

Don’t Carry Unauthorized Items: Do not bring mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any other electronic devices. These will be confiscated.

Bring your Admit Card and a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.).

Don’t Be Late: Latecomers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Ensure you reach on time.

Wear comfortable, simple clothing without large buttons or metal accessories to ease the security check process.

Don’t Cheat or Misbehave: Any form of cheating or misbehavior will lead to disqualification.

 

Keep track of time while attempting the exam. Make sure to allocate time for each section.

Don’t Forget to Check Documents: Double-check your admit card and ID proof before leaving for the exam.

 

Pay attention to all instructions provided by the invigilators and adhere to them.

Items Prohibited Inside NCHMCT JEE Examination Hall

To maintain integrity and smooth conduct of NCHMCT JEE exam, certain items are strictly prohibited inside exam hall. Candidates should avoid bringing following:

  • Mobile Phones: Phones, smartwatches, and any other electronic devices.
  • Calculators: Both regular and scientific calculators are not allowed.
  • Books and Study Material: Any kind of reference material, notes, or textbooks.
  • Paper/Notebooks: Candidates are not allowed to carry any paper, notebooks, or writing pads except the ones provided by the exam authorities.
  • Bag/Purse: Bags, purses, or any other kind of personal carry bags are not permitted.
  • Food Items and Beverages: Candidates cannot bring food, water bottles, or beverages into the exam hall.
  • Jewellery: Watches, rings, chains, or any metallic jewellery items.
  • Stationery: Except for the allowed pens/pencils, other stationery items like erasers, rulers, etc., are prohibited.
