The hospitality/ hotel management exams listed below are not mentioned in any particular order.
NTA released NCHMCT JEE 2026 application form in December 26, 2025. Registration details and application form link is available on the official website.
The Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT) has not released the official AIHMCT WAT notification. AIHMCT WAT notification on the official website; i.e. aihmctbangalore.edu.in. Along with the official notification, AIHMCT WAT Application Form 2026 has also been released. Candidates who are not more than 22 years of age will not be eligible to apply for AIHMCT WAT 2026 exam. Candidates are advised to check the AIHMCT WAT/ OAT 2026 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form.

Meanwhile, AIHMCT WAT is also a very popular hotel management exam in India. AIHMCT WAT used to conduct entrance exam to enrol potential candidates. From 2025, there will be no entrance exam. Candidates can directly apply through the official website for admission. The eligible candidates will be selected based on their merit and English language communication skills.
Another popular college where aspirants can pursue a course in hospitality management is – Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal University. This college doesn’t conduct any entrance exam for admissions and aspirants are offered admission on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam.
Top 10 Hotel Management Entrance Exams in India 2025
Aspirants can get an idea of the most popular hotel management/ hospitality entrance exams conducted in India below:
NCHMCT JEE: NCHMCT Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) to shortlist aspirants for admission in hospitality and hotel administration programmes offered at 21 central Institutes of Hotel Management (IHMs), 25 state IHMs, one Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) IHM, 24 private IHMs, and 13 food craft institutes in India. The next NCHMCT JEE is likely to be held in April 2026. The NCHM JEE application forms will be expected to be out by December 2025.
Candidates can check the list of documents required to apply for AIHMCT WAT 2026 below:
- A scanned copy of front facing passport size recent photograph with a plain background
- Scanned signature of the candidate
- Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC or PwD candidates
- BPL certificate (if applicable)
The Oberoi STEP application usually starts between February to April every year.

IIHM eCHAT: Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT) is a national-level hospitality entrance exam that is conducted by International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) to shortlist aspirants for admission in hotel management programmes offered at its campuses.
GNIHM JET: Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) conducts GNIHM Joint Entrance Test (JET) to shortlist aspirants for admission in hospitality programmes offered by it.
Oberoi STEP: Oberoi Group of Hotels conducts an interview round to shortlist aspirants for admission in Systematic Training and Education Programme (STEP) offered at different Oberoi hotels. There is no written exam for admissions, only an interview round is conducted to offer on-the-job training programmes to aspirants.
IHM Aurangabad Admissions: Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Aurangabad conducts a profiling test, group discussion and interview round to shortlist aspirants for admission in courses offered at the hotel management institute.
MAH HM CET: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra conducts MAH HM CET to shortlist aspirants for admission in Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and Master of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (MHMCT) programmes offered at colleges/ universities in the state of Maharashtra.
AIHMCT WAT: Also known as AIHMCT Written Admission Test (WAT), AIHMCT WAT is conducted by Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology (AIHMCT) to shortlist aspirants for admission in Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management (BHM) programme offered by it. WAT conducted for AIHMCT admissions is of three hours duration.
IHM CET: The Council of Education and Development Programmes (CEDP Skill Institute) conducts International Hotel Management Common Entrance Test (IHM CET) to shortlist aspirants for admission in hotel management programmes offered by it.
Servo SET: Servo Hospitality School conducts Servo SET exam to offer admission to aspirants in International Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts and Tourism courses offered by the college.
BVP CET: Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University conducts BVP CET to shortlist aspirants for admission in hospitality programmes offered at the university.

Yes, NTA gives you chance to fix your NCHMCT JEE form before admit card comes out. You can change some mistakes like name, contact, category, DOB. But do it before last date, or it stuck like that.
