Delhi University UG Admission 2018 through DU Cutoffs & Entrance Exams

Delhi University admissions process 2018 is underway for UG programmes. Candidates can go through important dates and admission process through DU cutoffs & entrance exam performance.

Delhi University admission process 2018 has commenced for undergraduate programmes. In order to secure admission in courses offered at University of Delhi colleges, aspirants need to fill a centralised DU application form. For admissions 2018, DU has issued a single application form for all UG course admissions. The application process for DU admissions 2018 commenced on May 15 and is set to end on June 7, 2018 (till 11:59 pm).

Under the ambit of Delhi University, there are 90 colleges, 16 Faculties, 87 Departments and 13 centres. Admission in courses offered at Delhi University colleges is either through merit or on the basis of their performance in Delhi University Entrance Exam (DUET).

DU UG ADMISSIONS 2018 THROUGH MERIT

In majority of the UG courses offered at DU, admission is offered on the basis of merit. Here, the varsity releases cut-offs and aspirants need to meet these cutoffs in order to secure admission in the course/college of their choice.

Aspirants need to follow the below mentioned steps in order to secure Delhi University admissions in colleges on the basis of DU cutoffs 2018.

Step 1: Check DU Cutoffs 2018. If they meet the cut-off for a preferred colleges/course then candidates need to login to the admission portal and select the appropriate Course as well as College to generate the DU Admission application form.

Step 2: Candidates need to visit the DU college with the required important documents for DU admissions 2018.

Step 3: Once the admission process has been completed at the DU college, candidates need to once again login on the admission portal and pay their admission fee.

Note: In case any candidate wants to take admission in any other college/course basis subsequent cut-off, he/she should ensure that he/she has:

  • Cancel admission online, and pay the requisite Admission Cancellation/withdrawal fee.
  • Print receipt of the admission cancellation fee. The student must submit the same to the college where he/she was admitted and withdraw his/her original certificates.

In this subsequent admission, the candidate will pay only the balance fee of the new college in which he is taking admission. Any extra amount paid by the student will be refunded after the last date of admission to the bank account of the candidate.

DU UG ADMISSION 2018 THROUGH ENTRANCE EXAM

There are few UG courses in which admission is offered to aspirants on the basis of their performance in an entrance exam. The application fee for courses in which admission is offered on the basis of DUET 2018 is as follows:

For all other categories (Unreserved, OBC etc.)

Rs 500
