Delhi University (DU) has released revised cutoff dates for UG course admissions. The DU 2021 admission process began on August 2 and the last date to fill the DU 2021 admission form was August 31.  The first DU cutoff list 2021 is now scheduled to be released on October 1. The DU admission list 2021 dates for UG courses has been eagerly awaited by students from across the country.

It may also be noted that candidates securing admission in DU colleges then need to log on to the DU admission portal for UG courses and make the course fee payment. The payment can be made till 5:00 PM on the next day of the approval of admission in a college in the portal.

DU PG Eligibility Criteria 2021

Delhi University PG admission 2021 is both entrance and merit-based. For merit-based PG programmes, candidates must follow the same guidelines as for merit-based UG programmes. However, for entrance-based PG programmes, candidates must be eligible under the following criteria to sit for DU PG Entrance Exam:

  • Age- There isn’t a minimum age bar for admission to the post-graduate courses in the University and its colleges except in the courses where the respective regulatory bodies such as the MCI, BCI, AICTE, DCI, NCTE, etc. have prescribed the minimum age requirement in their respective regulations
  • Qualifying examination- The details of the Qualifying Examination for each course is provided on DU's official website (www.du.ac.in)
  • Equivalence criteria- Departments/colleges of the university may advise the candidates concerned, wherever necessary, to get recognition/ equivalence of their degrees certificates authenticated from the AIU/UGC or equivalent. Further, the cases of equivalence of degrees/ diploma/ certificates may then be put up before the University Authorities for further consideration and confirmation
  • Reservation criteria- As much as 22.5% of seats are reserved for applicants belonging to SC and ST (15% for SC and 7.5% for ST, interchangeable, if necessary). A total of 27% of seats are reserved for applicants belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) in Govt. of India List
