If sure, they can cancel their admission on the admission portal and visit the preferred college with the new application form and complete the document verfication process (explained in the step above). The admission fee paid for the previous college will be refunded (with a deduction of Rs 1,000 as cancellation fee) and visible in the Wallet section of the dashboard. It may be noted that only one cancellation is allowed per cutoff list released by DU.

DU Cutoffs

The cutoff of DU is basically the minimum marks at which candidates are considered qualified for the document verification process. Delhi university cutoffs are released on the basis of a number of seats available in each college of the varsity for different courses.

Once the varsity releases the cutoff list, candidates need to calculate their percentage of ‘best of four’ subjects and meet the DU cutoff of the course in which they are seeking admission.

Best of Four Percentage Calculation for Humanities Courses

Best of Four Percentage Calculation for Commerce Courses

Best of Four Percentage Calculation for Science Courses

In 2020, Delhi University had released a total of 9 DU cutoff 2020 for various courses offered under the streams of Humanities, Commerce and Science streams. University of Delhi had released 9th Cut off 2020 on January 2, 2021 and 8th cut off list 2020 (NCWEB) on December 26, 2020.

Changes in DU Admission Process 2021

Considering the challenges that emerged last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for this academic year 2021-22, for the benefit of the students, the University has decided to retain the Eligibility Criteria as last year. The University has also decided that there will be no change in the Registration fees for Merit-Based and Entrance-Based admissions. Centralised UG admissions will be done through one Registration-cum-Application form. All Departments/ Colleges will use the same Registration-cum-Application Form for admissions and the candidates will not have to fill any other form.
