DUET 2020 exam day guidelines have been released by Delhi University. Read below to know the dates of entrance test, exam centres, important instructions for candidates, procedure for appearing in the computer based test.

The exam day guidelines highlights regarding the dates of entrance test, exam centres, important instructions for candidates, procedure for appearing in the computer based test etc. Candidates should adhere to the guidelines issued by the varsity while appearing for the exam. DUET 2020 is scheduled to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) from June 2 to June 9. The entrance test for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), MPhil, PhD courses will be held separately for various courses on different dates and time slots.

Test cities for DUET 2020

DUET entrance test will be conducted in 18 cities spread throughout the country. Candidates need to select the exam cities while filling DUET application form 2020. The examination centre cannot be changed once it is allotted to candidates. The test cities are listed below-

Important Instructions for DUET 2020

  • Candidates should report to the examination centre 90 minutes before the commencement of exam to complete formalities like frisking and registration.
  • Registration desk will close 30 minutes prior the examination. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall under any circumstance after the registration is closed.
  • Candidates should take their seat immediately after the examination hall is opened.
  • Adequate facilities will be provided to the Persons with Disability.
  • Candidates will have to show their DUET admit card 2020 at the entry of examination hall.
  • Candidates without admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
  • Ensure that the question paper available on the computer is as per the opted subject group mentioned in the admit card before the examination begins. In case, the subject is other than the opted paper, the same should be informed to the invigilator.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any baggage inside the examination.
  • Candidates will have to appear for the exam at their own cost.
  • The city, exam centre and shift will not be changed.
  • Rough sheets will be provided to candidates at the exam centre. Candidates need to write their name and roll number on it.
  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before completion of the test and without the permission of the invigilator.
  • Virtual calculators will be available on the computer screen during the examination.
  • Candidates must sign and paste their photograph on the attendance sheet
  • Carry one photo-identity proof (PAN Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/Passport/Aadhaar Card/Ration Card/CGHS Card) to the examination centre.
  • The name on the photo-identity proof should match with that on the admit card.

How to attempt the computer based test?

  • Candidates will be allotted a computer terminal indicating the roll number of candidates
  • Login with your roll number, PIN (Date of Birth) and password. The password will be provided by the invigilator
  • Read the instructions carefully before beginning with the test
  • The use of keyboard is restricted during the exam
  • Candidates have the option to change/modify their answers during the exam
  • The time will be displayed in the on-screen computer clock
  • The question palette displayed on the right side of screen will show the status of each question in text/colour codes/symbols
