Amazing from my perspective, hardworking faculty, good and green environment, helping people.
Placements: I love my course; 90 percent of students are placed. The top companies are Microsoft, Accenture, etc. 50 percent of students get an internship in my course. Content creation is an important course. It helps in writing content and even in communication; it helps a lot, and also in translation.
Infrastructure: The first starts with facilities like infrastructure, which is very good at my college and course. Wi-Fi is not working at all in classrooms, but in the lawn area, it's fine. The library is also good, and amazing books are provided there. I don't think the canteen is good. The taste of the food is not good, but in Nescafé and Amul, the nearby canteen is very good. The coffee is so refreshing. The medical room is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are so knowledgeable and hardworking. They always want to take an extra class, and they are helpful, but sometimes strict. Like, I am from English honours, so I don't think I am industry-ready, as it's so theoretical, not practical. Semester exams are difficult, but the pass percentage is 95 percent.
Other: I love English honors. Literature is my genre. The best thing is to read novels. I like to improve practically. Fest is normal, connectivity is also normal, and we have an activity period of three hours.

Overall, I would say this college has a great campus and average teachers.
Placements: In English honors, I would say placements were not that good in comparison to other courses. The placements in English hons came generally in the marketing field. There were 15% approximately students placed in my field. You had to really develop your personality to get placed.
Infrastructure: Very beautiful campus and ground were there. You would see greenery around everywhere. You would love to go to this college in the winter season. Classrooms were okay as chairs were not comfortable. Mess was big but food was not that good. There were strict rules in the hostel mess also. Library was nice. Canteen was good.
Faculty: Staffs were not much helpful. We had come across an incident but staffs will cross question you on everything. The environment was very strict. You had to do everything on your own in the stipulated time. Teachers were strict and my experience was bad. Semester exams were not that difficult. Teachers were great at teaching. I liked a teacher in our department Debjanni Ma'am, such a brilliant master. Teachers were not so cooperative.
Other: Fests were good here.

Is IPCW a right fit for you?
Placements: The internships offered by the college for English hons students are not considered useful by the students. They prefer LinkedIn, Internshala and such platform for finding and engaging with internships and recruiters. The roles offered in this course are:- Teaching, Copywriter, translator, content writers, consultant etc.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are ventilated, spacious, and furnished but not air-conditioned. There is a translation and translation studies centre for interested students. The library is a three-floor building with a lift, fully air-conditioned. According to government institution standards, the library is wonderful, all sorts of books, journals and supplementary materials are available. There are two hostels each with a capacity of around 500 students. The medical facilities and other amenities are well scared for. Food is also average with a special menu for the weekends.
Faculty: The teachers though not experienced are helpful and knowledgeable. All of them have a doctorate in their fields. They are comfortable in both Hindi and English language. The curriculum is designed by the University itself and is relevant to the industry needs. The exams are held twice a year at the end of each semester, preceded by internal class tests and assignments. Exams are analysis-based and not difficult. The pass percentage is 40% in each theory and internal.
Other: The course is well designed and executed. Sometimes it may feel overwhelming in the first year due to the tough language and writing style of the authors of 16-17 century. SHRUTI the annual fest is very low-key and not fun but due to the colleges proximity to the north campus, students can visit there. Seminars, conferences, events held throughout the year also make it bearable.

Connaught place of Delhi University.
Placements: Basically, the percentage varies from course to course and in English, basically, the campus placement is done for the post of creative writing or content writing so students can get opportunities on the basis of their skills, their marks and their overall growth. The top role is creative writing only.
Infrastructure: The college has two hostels, one inside and the other outside, and both serve all the facilities and amenities for girls. The food is also very good, with a diverse menu but the only restriction is that you, the wardens, are very strict.
Faculty: The teachers are so cordial and cooperative with the students and help us grow in the field and make genuine efforts. Also, the IPCW English faculty is one of the best faculty at Delhi University and they are highly qualified. The difficulty of the exam is somewhat easy to moderate.
Other: The college is in a prime location, and we have established cafes near us serving good-quality food. Moreover, the fest and functions in and out of the college make the experience even more interesting. The best thing about this course is it's diversity. No matter how widely scattered the English language is, it's not just what we speak but even this.

It is our second home. It is a great choice.
Placements: I was able to bag four internships, including one international and three national, through the recommendations of the placement cell. All of these internships were diverse and provided great exposure. The highest package offered was 17.5 LPA to a student of Economics (Hons).
Infrastructure: It has an excellent infrastructure. The library is our favourite place. Sports facilities are also equally great. During breaks, we would often head to the badminton courts to play doubles there. The college, with its history spanning more than 100 years now, also has a museum, which is a great place to visit. We used to stay in the non-air-conditioned IP hostel. The hostel also has a mini-library, a large hall, and seven washing machines. Centralised cooling is available in all non-air-conditioned rooms through ducts. The hostel has an academic environment, making it very conducive for studies.
Faculty: The guidance from faculty members is great. All our professors are DU or JNU alumni and are either pursuing Ph.D.s or have completed one. Some of them are even visiting professors in universities abroad. Faculty members are extremely transparent about their CVs, which is the best part. In our batch, many students had a grand CGPA of above 7.5, which is an excellent benchmark for English (Hons) students.
Other: IP is the only apolitical college in DU that allows us to have our own views on things instead of promoting institutionalised opinions. This was a great advantage since there were no distractions. One could work on academic and ECA in a focused manner. The crowd was excellent. You meet empowered women each day who boost your energy for the rest of the day. The annual public lectures are ones that one should try not to miss. Personalities like Sanjeev Sanyal, Dr. Faizan Mustafa, etc., have been invited hitherto. These lectures are extremely insightful. The Shakespeare Society of India also organises its annual plays in IP's auditorium. You get to witness great theatre art there by teams from all across DU.

The infrastructure, crowd and faculty are good.
Placements: I am not very sure as I am a first-year student, but I think the placements are good. I don't know about the companies either, as it is not very important for my course. We get to meet our alumni who guide us. There is a placement cell, and it provides internships frequently. Both paid and unpaid internships are offered.
Infrastructure: The campus is spacious. The new classrooms are huge and well maintained, but some of the old classrooms are small and congested. Wi-Fi facility is available, and it is accessible through laptops in the library. The library is huge and has enough seating arrangements and required materials. The labs are also well built. Many sports facilities are available for the students, including archery and baseball, and the facilities are good. Trainers are available, and they take the class once a week, but students can have access all the time. There are a gym and a swimming pool, spacious auditoriums, a dancing hall etc. The library and labs are air-conditioned. The canteen is good, and the food served in the canteen is not the best. I don't know about the hostels, but the campus has two hostels, and I heard that they are overpriced.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, knowledgeable and helpful. Every faculty member has their own teaching methods, but they are flexible. They focus a lot on academics, and they put a lot of efforts for academics. The teachers are strict regarding the evaluation. There are both young and old teachers. We get exposure through literature society, talks, presentations, lectures, etc., that are conducted frequently. We get to meet professors from foreign universities as well during these programs. According to me, the course curriculum is good.
Other: The campus crowd is good, and there are intellectual, strong and amazing women. There are many educational and sports events. The college organises college day, cultural day and sports day annually. There is a two-day fest, which is not much good compared to other North Campus colleges, but the last one was good. Scholarships are provided by the college. The college is 15-20 minutes away from North Campus. Hence it is deserted, which is a drawback. Civil Lines is expensive, but we have Majnu-ka-Tilla, Tibetian market nearby, which has good cafes. There is a nice stall outside the gate and Tau's spot for tea.

Satisfied with the faculty. The infrastructure is not good though.
Placements: I am a 1st-year student, so I am not aware of placements. But according to other students, the college provides students with good placements in various companies. Departments like English, psychology and economics get better placements comparatively, in private companies.
Infrastructure: Students can't use the Wi-Fi facility available on the campus. Labs are well-furnished and have A/C facilities. Some classrooms are huge, and some are very small which results in suffocation. The library is quite good. We have a few basketball courts and volleyball courts, but balls are not available all the time. Food available in our canteen is quite good, and it's edible.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers explain everything in class and provide various PDFs to the students. Teachers are interactive and cooperative. Though I am not sure about the teacher-student ratio in every department, in the English department, the ratio is 10:1.
Other: Various events are held every year. There is one college fest and many department fests and society fests. The campus crowd is good. People are friendly and helpful. Campus surroundings are clean and lush green. The college environment is excellent. The college provides scholarships to the students. Every month, famous personalities visit our college and interact with the students. Paper presentations are conducted where students discuss their topic with fellow students and teachers.

The best college among the colleges affiliated to DU for B.A. (Hons.) in English.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any placement opportunities as it's a government college. Even the course that I opted is merely for graduation, so one cannot expect placements after completing it. But I am not sure about the placements of rest of the departments in this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college was really great as the college was very different from other government colleges that I had visited before coming to this college. The college provides a lot of facilities. It was a big college, and there are airy and clean classrooms. The college is being renovated now to provide the technological advancements required for the best teaching and learning experience.
Faculty: The faculty members are really well-educated and well read. They had full command over their field. Only the curriculum was a bit different because of FYUP. We are aware of the fact that that is a government programme, and the college authorities were not involved in designing the curriculum.
Other: Connectivity to the college was the best as the metro station is just 3-5 kilometres away from college which saved some extra money for me as I did not have to take any rickshaw or something after travelling 10-15 metro stations to reach the college.

It depends on which course you are willing to take admission. For most of the course, having maths till 12th is not a compulsion but for courses like B.Com (Hons) or BA (Hons) economics maths is a necessary.
