The exam conducting authority has extended the GMCET applications for the 2024 session. The last date to fill in the application form for GMCET 2024 is January 20. Candidates who qualify in the GMCET 2024 examination will be able to pursue a program in journalism and mass media studies.

The exam conducting authority of GMCET, the Global Media Education Council (GMEC) has extended the last date of the GMCET application form 2024. As per the extension, the last date to fill in the application form for the GMCET 2024 is January 20, 2024. Earlier the last date to fill the GMCET application form 2024 was December 2, 2023. Candidates who missed the previous deadline still have a chance to fill in the application form for GMCET 2024.

To apply, aspirants who meet the minimum eligibility criteria of GMCET can visit the official website gmcet.org and fill in their details. Candidates who successfully fill out the GMCET 2024 application form will be issued the admit card to appear in the test.
The application fee for GMCET is INR 1000. Candidates can pay the GMCET application fee in online mode via net banking/debit card/credit card/UPI.
The GMCET application form is released in online mode and is filled via the same medium, candidates will have to pay the application fee of the GMCET application form in online mode only. In order to make the payment, they will have to use their Debit card/Credit/Net banking/UPI, etc. There are no offline means to make the application fee payment, nor there is any demand draft medium. Candidates should also refrain from any websites, or persons pertaining to being GMCET officials and asking for fee payment. They must only rely on the official website - gmcet.org and their official payment merchants to pay the application fee.

- Register by filling in your details - name, active mobile number, and valid email address as well as nationality. Continue by adding your state, district, and captcha, and agree to the terms and conditions before clicking on the submit button. If you already have an account on the GMCET website, you can use the previous credentials to log in and continue.a
- Fill in education qualification details, select course preference, and continue to pay GMCET application fee.
- Verify all details carefully, before final submission of GMCET application form 2024.

The question paper of GMCET entrance exam 2026 will have 4 sections. Each section will include 25 questions. The marking scheme for the entrance test is 1 mark for every corrrect answer. So, the total marks for GMCET 2026 exam is 100.

The GMEC has not yet made any official announcement related to the exam dates for GMCET 2026 exam. However, it is expected to begin in the last week of July 2026. The mode of entrance test is online. Students will get one hour to complete the exam.

The exam conducting authority GMEC - Global Media Education Council, started the Global Media Common Entrance Test registrations for the 2024 session in December 2023. Candidates who were interested in applying for the GMCET exam can visit the official website to register online and apply for the GMCET exam till May 29, 2024. While filling in the details, they will have to fill in their personal details and the login credentials were generated. They will have to use these credentials to log into the website again to finish the application form in detail.
