The exam conducting authority has extended the GMCET applications for the 2024 session. The last date to fill in the application form for GMCET 2024 is January 20. Candidates who qualify in the GMCET 2024 examination will be able to pursue a program in journalism and mass media studies.

The exam conducting authority of GMCET, the Global Media Education Council (GMEC) has extended the last date of the GMCET application form 2024. As per the extension, the last date to fill in the application form for the GMCET 2024 is January 20, 2024. Earlier the last date to fill the GMCET application form 2024 was December 2, 2023. Candidates who missed the previous deadline still have a chance to fill in the application form for GMCET 2024.

Steps to apply for GMCET 2024

Step 1: Visit the official website - gmcet.org

Step 2: On the homepage, register by filling in your details - name, active mobile number, and valid email address as well as nationality. Continue by adding your state, district, and captcha, and agree to the terms and conditions before clicking on the submit button. If you already have an account on the GMCET website, you can use the previous credentials to log in and continue.

What after the GMCET exam?

Candidates who qualify for the GMCET exam will be offered courses through the participating colleges and universities. Candidates can choose from either BJMC (Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication), BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BA-JMC( Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication), BMM (Bachelor of Mass Media) or BMC (Bachelor of Mass Communication)
