What is MET?
Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts Manipal Entrance Test (MET) to select candidates for BTech admission into participating campuses. Based on MET scores, candidates can apply for BTech courses offered by participating four campuses. MET is held as an online test at various centres, and candidates will have to attempt objective questions.

Previous Year's MET Paper Analysis
According to students who attempted previous year's MET exam, overall paper was moderately difficult. Students found Mathematics as toughest section and most questions were lengthy and from both 11th and 12th class syllabus. Physics was moderate but questions were more numerical based and from 12th class. Chemistry was easy and most questions were from Organic Chemistry. BTech Courses - Candidates should have qualified 10+2, A-Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional subjects with a minimum of 50% mark taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
Lateral BTech - 3 years Diploma in Engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination of a State Government or passed BSc Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks and passed Xll standard with Mathematics as a subject.
