Review of Jadavpur University.
Placements: Placements were provided through the career cell at the university. Almost 5 companies visit the campus to recruit freshers. Almost 50% of students got jobs. If you wish to enhance your knowledge, then JU is a great college. However, if your only goal is to secure a good job, then this is not the right place for you.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in our college are spacious. There are a multimedia projector and stereo facility. Classrooms require regular cleaning as it was often dirty. There was a library but not enough books for all the students. There are two classrooms and almost 140 students, so it was a bit crowded.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are great. Top-notch professors from Kolkata taught us. The course curriculum was vast, but teachers explained the chapters properly. They provided us with notes regularly and surprise tests helped us stay active mentally. There were practical classes on film making as well. In the final exam, you have to write a dissertation or create a short film.

Good infrastructure and excellent faculty members.
Placements: We had placements from Star India, Zee India and Network18 TV in 2016, however, the job opportunities are less as the recruitments in Jadavpur University are conducted across various streams. Depending upon the vacancies, some local news channels and NGOs also hire students from our college.
Infrastructure: We have good infrastructure. We have an excellent library with a great collection of resource materials which provide insights on various topics related to mass communication.
Faculty: We have excellent faculty members from various backgrounds who are well versed with subjects and the industry they belong to.

For MA Mass Communication: All the candidates need to possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 50 percent marks. So, you will be eligible as far as your course is concerned.

You can apply but admissions are not on these days, you have to apply in new session. If any university or college is giving admissions these days too, then you can go for it but they will approve your admission only then once you will complete your Graduation.
