No, students cannot join Faculty of law, Calcutta university directly without any entrance test for any course. Students need to qualify in the entrance test in order to get the admission. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education conduts entrance test which is WBCHSE entrance exams . Through this entrance exam, students can take admission. A cut off will be released according to the seats intake and applications. Seat intake for different courses is also different and cut off will also be different. So if any student wants to take admission he /she need to qualify in the entrance exams as well as in the cut off.
No, you cannot take admission at Faculty of law, Calcutta university with CLAT score. This is because CLAT is an entrance test only for admission in National Law Universities in India. The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) conduct entrance test which is WBCHSE entrance test, by which students can take admission at this Institute.
