TANCET 2019 rank list announced; know where you stand

TANCET 2019 rank list was released in August for the exam held on June 22-23. All the qualifying candidates, based on the rank list, will be called for counselling.

TANCET 2019 rank list was released August 22 for ME, M.Tech, MPlan, MArch, MBA and MCA programmes after completion of the online registration process of TANCET counselling. Candidates can visit the official website to check the rank list. To check TANCET rank list 2019, candidates need to enter the required credentials.

TANCET rank list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam and respective categories. The rank list displays the rank secured by candidates. On the basis of TANCET 2019 rank list, candidates are called for the TANCET 2019 counselling. TANCET 2019 exam was conducted on June 22 and 23.

The rank list is available online on the official website. The steps to check TANCET rank list are given below:

  • Candidates need to visit the official website
  • On the homepage, candidates find the rank list link
  • Clicking the link, candidates are redirected to the login page
  • Candidates need to enter email ID and password
  • The rank list appears on the screen
  • Download the rank list and take its printout

Tie-Breaking Policy for TANCET Rank List

In case there is a tie while preparing the TANCET rank list, the candidate's rank is determined by following the inter-set merit rules:

  • Average percentage of marks from first semester/year to N-1 semesters/ years in the qualifying degree examination. (Where N is the total number of semesters/years in the qualifying examination)
  • Date of birth (Candidates elder is given preference)
  • Candidates with higher percentage are ranked high
