UPES Dehradun MBA Admission 2021: Dates, Eligibility & Process

UPES Dehradun offers a two-year MBA programme under the School of Business. UPES MBA admissions are entrance-based. The University conducts an entrance test, namely University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Engineering Management Entrance Test (UPESMET), for MBA admissions. However, candidates having a valid score in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT are also eligible to apply for the MBA programme.

Under the stream of Management, the University offers MBA programme at the PG level. UPES Dehradun admissions to MBA programme are based on UPESMET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ NMAT valid score.

Note: For Uttarakhand bonafide resident candidates, 15% of the seats are reserved subject to production of ‘Sthai Niwas Praman Patra’. These seats will be allocated based on merit.

UPES Dehradun MBA Application Process 2021

As mentioned above, UPES Dehradun application form can be filled in both online and offline modes. For offline application submission, candidates can visit UPES Dehradun campus and pay a fee of Rs 1,350 to buy the application form and submit the same at the admission cell of the respective school of UPES Dehradun. For online application submission, follow the below-given steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPES Dehradun (www.upes.ac.in). On its homepage, click on ‘Apply Now’ to process further.

Step 2: In the first step of the application form, pay the application fee of Rs 1,350 using debit card/ credit card/ net banking through Paytm/ PayU gateway.

Step 3: Complete the remaining application process by filling in the academic details.

Step 4: Upload all the necessary documents along with a passport-size photograph in JPG/ JPEG format.

A scanned copy of the below-mentioned documents need to be submitted along with the application form in online/ offline mode:

• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheet
• UG mark sheets (if applicable)
• PG mark sheets (if applicable)
• Date of birth certificate
• Passport-size photograph
• Transfer certificate
• Character certificate

UPES Dehradun MBA Scholarships 2021

The University offers over 10 different scholarships under all the programmes. The scholarship amount or percentage differs from course to course. Given below are the details regarding UPES MBA scholarships:

Scholarship for MBA students:

Scholarship to MBA students is given on the basis of CAT percentile. Candidates, who have secured more than 85 percentile in CAT, are eligible for this scholarship. Below mentioned are the details for the same:

Apart from the above-mentioned scholarship, MBA candidates, who have secured a minimum of 80 percentile in CAT/ XAT or minimum 90 percentile in MAT/ NMAT/ UPESMET or any other national-level entrance test, are eligible for a 25% tuition fee waiver in the first semester. The University also offers scholarships to the girl students. Details regarding the same are mentioned below:

• Scholarship to girl students: The University offers a tuition fee waiver of 25% to all girls taking admission to any of the UG and PG programmes. This scholarship is applicable for the full duration of the programme. The attendance of a student must not be less than 75% to avail this scholarship.
