Candidates who fulfil the eligibility requirements can apply for MBA admission at NIT Calicut. However, the final selection of candidates is based on their scores valid CAT scores. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% aggregate (6.0 out of 10 CGPA) for SC and ST categories)  is the basic eligibility required to get admission to MBA at NITC. The aspirants shall further have a minimum of three-year work experience. Furthermore, all the documents such as bachelor’s degree, mark sheets, etc. are required at the time of admission for verification purposes.

Candidates with a CAT percentile above 70 shall have a fair chance of getting a seat in an MBA at NIT Calicut. However, this is an expected percentile and hence may vary. The CAT cutoff varies every year as it depends upon various factors such as the number of applicants, applicants’ CAT scores, etc.

No, NIT Calicut does not accept CMAT scores for admission to MBA course. For admission to MBA (Regular) course, candidates must qualify for CAT with a valid score. Candidates have to submit their CAT scores at the time of applying for MBA on the official website of NIT Calicut. However, for aspirants of industry-sponsored MBA courses, candidates are offered admission based on their ranks obtained in the Department-level written test.

NIT Rourkela offers MBA course in a full-time mode. The course is taught by the Department of Management at the institute. The total seat intake for MBA is 75. There is seat reservation available for MBA at NIT Calicut. As per the selection criteria for this course, the seats are filled based on a valid CAT score. Further, candidates can also pursue MBA (industry-sponsored) course. There are total five seats available for this course.
