Our university is very well-reputed and has great brand value.
Placements: Our placement cell of the university ensures that students are ready for placements. They provide us with frequent training sessions, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops. At Madras University, the highest salary package offered last year was 13.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The university offers summer and winter internships to 2nd and 3rd-year students. Last year, around 70% of students got benefits from this program.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of my favorite things about the university. It is surrounded by nature which makes it very pleasant. We have 2 libraries. They have a lot of books around 5,000. Hostel rooms are very spacious. The hostel fee is quite minimal. Mess facilities in the hostel are good and very hygienic. There is a ground for football where many students can play in their free time.
Faculty: Our faculty members are friendly and enthusiastic about their work. They are very highly educated and experienced faculty members. They teach us in various ways like presentation format and video lectures also. Overall we can say that they are very considerate and helpful. Exams are conducted by the university. They are arranged by the university faculty. The passing percentage of students is around 70-75%.

Our college is the best in terms of placements and infrastructure.
Placements: In our college, we have a placement cell. The criteria to sit in campus placement is to maintain more than a 7.5 CGPA with no current backlog. Placements are quite good compared to other college placements. In 2023, the highest salary package offered is 19 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The placement cell of our university provides opportunities for internships and part-time jobs which are the best for the overall experience to be shown during placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It has a lot of space with a refreshing environment. In the university, there is a central lab for students. There is a dedicated library which is open 24/7 for all students. There is a dedicated auditorium with a lot of facilities. It has a capacity of 1,000 plus students at a time to sit and attend guest lectures. The hostel life is also more or less good. I stayed in the hostel. It is quite good, but it is also strict.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and highly educated. If you have any problem, they guide you and solve your problems. In our university, for each subject, there are one or two faculty members. At first, it may seem that they are quite strict but it's genuinely for our own good. Faculty here tend to provide you with a lot of recourses and you will be getting extra classes for all lectures they teach. For exams, the passing rate is 70%. Exams are difficult sometimes.

The finest university in India with good academics and exposure.
Placements: Placement cell is good, all students work hard to get good placements. Heads of departments from each department provide mentorship, but the placement cell needs improvement. Packages are average, ranging from 8 LPA to 10 LPA, and good academic records are necessary for succeeding in interviews. Students get many internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both the university and hostel is perfect. The campus is well-connected to Chennai and easily accessible. Hostel rooms are good, with accommodation for 500 students. The facility includes a library, CCTV surveillance, and sports grounds. The food in the hostel is good. It is one of the most cost-efficient hostels in any institute.
Faculty: The university offers many courses and programs. There is a permanent faculty staff and a student-friendly environment. Professors are helpful in research and academics and are very approachable for students. The curriculum is a little old, and the demand for qualifying marks is high. Students get wide exposure to many academic branches.

My MBA from the University of Madras.
Placements: Around 45% of the students get placements at this University. Various national and multinational companies visits college for the on-campus placements. 3-7 LPA is the average package offered in our course. Top recruiters in our course were TCS, HCl, Byjus, Wipro, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available at the University of Madras are very good. College classrooms have proper seating and projectors. The college has labs, a library, and a canteen facility for the students. The college campus has Wi-Fi facilities for the students. Sports and various other events organised at our college.
Faculty: The faculty of our university was highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were giving proper guidance and support to the students. The course curriculum of this university was relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams at this college were not that hard to pass.

College was so clean and filled with trees.
Placements: Here we were given a good opportunity to discuss as well as avail proper training regarding the interviews as well as CV. Also, for all of us during my final year, many companies were invited for the placement process. Many of my classmates were placed in companies like Deloitte, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: MCC follows a hall system rather than a hostel system. There are three halls for girls (Martin, Margaret, and Barnes) and three halls for boys (Slayer, St. Thomas, Bishop Heber). In the girls' hall, 3 students stay in a room, and in the boys' hall, 1 student stays in a room. The food is good, but it is a bit costlier than staying in a PG. The halls offer a great opportunity to explore talents and participate in programs, sports, and other cultural events like rap, ethnic walks, dancing, music, singing, poetry, etc. It might sometimes be a burden for students who want to completely focus on their studies.
Faculty: At a young age, I wanted to become a businessman like Vasannthakumar @ Vasanth & Co, so I chose BBA. There are 70 members in a section, and a total of 2 sections. The teaching is good; all the teachers and sir were treated like their own sons and daughters. It was a little bit tough, but we had to study at least for the last 1 month to pass. Course fees: INR 15,200 per year.

Yes, you can. Graduate of any stream can apply for MBA. There is no such rule. Just appear in cat and equivalent exams or entrance exam of the college, as per it's requirement.
