IBSAT exam pattern 2025 is similar to most of the other MBA entrance exams in terms of test structure and marking scheme. IBS will conduct IBSAT 2025 exam in remote proctored mode. Candidates can take the IBSAT exam from their laptop/desktop and a convenient place. The IBSAT question paper is divided into four sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation and Reading Comprehension. IBSAT Exam Pattern 2025: Section-wise Weightage

The section-wise distribution of questions in IBSAT exam or question paper is as follows:

Section 1: Verbal ability

The section includes the highest number of questions, i.e. 50 as compared to other sections. The section comprises all the essential components of English Language: Grammar, Sentence formation, Vocabulary usage, Idioms, Phrases, One-word substitution, Jumbled paragraphs, and many others. 

Section 2: Reading comprehension

This section consists of 30 questions based on RC passages. The passages are usually of a moderate difficulty level. The questions are linked to the information given in the passage and are relatively easy to attempt.

Section 3: Quantitative Ability

This section checks your mathematical skills with a strong emphasis on Arithmetic. Again, the questions are of a moderate difficulty level. With a decent number of practice sets, candidates can have a good command over the section.

Section 4: Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation

The section comprises two sets of questions. One section consists of Data Interpretation, which includes questions on Data analysis, Data comparison, and Data trends. The other section includes questions on Data sufficiency.

yes, candidates can take IBSAT exam more than once. The IBSAT exam is conducted annually. If candidate is not able to appear for the current session, he/she may apply for the next session examinations. ICFAI has not specified the number of attempts for IBSAT exam.
