JET 2026 Dates: Jain University application process is underway for JET 2026 exam. Candidates can apply for MBA, BTech and other UG/PG courses. JET exam will be held in multiple phases and candidates can choose a date as per their choice. JET 2026 for MSC, MA, PGD, MPA, PG SAHS, PG Design and MCA was scheduled on January 30 and personal interview was scheduled on January 31, 2026. UG course exams will be held in April 2026. 

JET BTech will be conducted on April 9 and 10, 2026. BSc, BCA, BMS, BA, BFA, BDes, BPES & BSc Sports and Law entrance exam will be conducted on April 9 and personal interview round will be conducted on April 10, 2026JET BBA, BCom will be held on April 9 and 10; personal interview will be conducted on April 13 and 14, 2026. Read below more about JET exam 2026.

JET is Jain University entrance test. For admission, the applicant has to appear for and clear the JAIN Entrance Test JET which includes a written test, group discussion, and Personal Interview. Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for JET :

  3. Selecting the test centre
  4. Upload documents
  5. Fee Payment.

A: 

It is mandatory to clear the JET exam to qualify. The admission through JET programs is based on merit and rank obtained by students in entrance exam. After clearing written exam there will be face group discussion and Personal Interview round.

Q:   What are some important instructions for JET?
A: 

Since JET is held in an Online Proctored Assessment method, candidates must take care of the following:

  • Supported Devices: Desktop computers and laptop computers. Webcam and Microphone are mandatory and must remain switched on during the duration of the test.
  • Non-Supported Devices: Android Devices, iPads and iPhone
  • Operating System: For Desktops and Laptops: Windows 7 or above (Windows 10 recommended), Mac OS 10.13 and above, and Linux (Ubuntu versions 18.04, 16.04, 15.04 only) systems.
  • Browsers: Google Chrome (84.0.4147.135 or later) is recommended. Only Google Chrome Browser needs to be used.
  • Minimum Configuration: Processor: Core 2 Duo and above.
  • Processor speed: 1.5 GHz and above; RAM: minimum 1 GB.
  • Minimum Internet Speed: 2 Mbps.
  • Others: Pop-up blockers on the web browser must be disabled.

What After JET 2026 Exam?

After the JET 2026 exam, every candidate’s performance will be evaluated. JET 2026 result will be announced online. Candidates who shall have qualified the exam will be eligible for the selection round. The selection round includes personal interview.

  • Selected candidates will be invited for the PI round via email.
  • They will have to participate in the PI to ensure their candidature.
  • Final selection will be done after evaluating candidate’s performance in the selection round.
  • Those who will not attend PI, will not be considered for admission.
  • Upon final selection, candidates will have to complete admission process within the given deadline of fee submission.

  • 10th Marks Sheet
  • 12th Marks Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate from last institution studied (qualifying examination)-Mandatory

  • Copy of Aadhaar Card
  • Copy of Passport and Visa (if available) for international applicant(s)

The level of Math questions are not too difficult so it will not be a challenge to you if you have not studied the subject in class 11-12. Just go through the basics of Geometry, Algebra and Arithmetic of Class 9 and 10, and it should be enough.

Maximum marks in JET exam is 120. Every questions carries 1 mark for correct attempt and 0 for incorrect attempt.

JET exam is MCQ based test of 120 minutes or 2 hours. The number of questions range from 100 to 120. Every question carries 1 mark. Candidates have to attempt all questions.

Math is an important section of JET exam for all courses, so it is not advisable to skip it. Moreover, it carries about 20 marks so not attempting any question from Math section may affect the overall result.

Yes, the syllabus of JET exam is different for each course. While Reading Comprehension, Maths and General Knowledge is common for all courses, one section of syllabus is subject specific.

Yes, you can crack JET exam without coaching as the syllabus has familiar subjects that you have studied in HSc. Moreover, the difficulty level of JET is easy so you can prepare by practicing sample papers only.
