Karnataka PGCET 2022: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET 2022 first-round allotment results. Candidates who have been allotted a seat can exercise options until 11:59 PM on January 30. Soon after the window to exercise options is closed, candidates have to pay the admission fee. What is Karnataka PGCET?
Karnataka PGCET or Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is administered annually by Karnataka Examination Authority. Karnataka PGCET acts as the gateway exam for admission into PG courses, including MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech. and M.Arch in the state of Karnataka. Karnataka PGCET Answer Keys 2022
Soon after the exam day, KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET answer keys. Candidates can find the correct answers for all the questions in the question paper in the Karnataka PGCET answer key. Test takers can check the Karnataka PGCET answer key from the dedicated login portal available on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates can also file objections if they find any error in the answer key. Filling objections against the answer key of PGCET 2022 is also available online via the same login portal. Along with the email, candidates must submit relevant documents supporting their claim. Further, the official website of KEA will release the final answer keys after necessary corrections.
Karnataka PGCET Hall Ticket Download
All the applicants can download the Karnataka PGCET admit card. KEA released the Karnataka PGCET admit card online at kea.kar.nic.in. Following the previous year's trends, the admit card was released as per the schedule, which was 10 days prior to the exam date. Candidates were able to download the PDF file of the Karnataka PGCET hall ticket, and print the same before the exam day. KEA officials deny entry to the examination hall if the candidates appear for the exam without a hard copy of the admit card.

Karnataka PGCET Application Process 2022
Candidates had to fill and submit the Karnataka PGCET application form 2022 before KEA closed the registration window. Candidates had filled the application form by entering the necessary details including personal, academic and communication details. After filling the form, all the candidates who paid the Karnataka PGCET application fee were considered for the further admission process.
The application fee for Karnataka PGCET is payable through a Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. Details for the PGCET application fee for different categories are as follows.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Admission Process
Institutes in Karnataka offer MBA admissions based on the Karnataka PGCET exam. The first stage of the Karnataka PGCET requires the candidates to fill the application form. All the applicants are able to download the hall ticket (admission tickets) and appear for the exam. The examination score aids the counselling process for admission based on the Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam.
Karnataka PGCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
MBA admission based Karnataka PGCET exam is done for full-time and part-time programmes. Karnataka PGCET eligibility criteria for MBA admission is as follows.
Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Full-Time MBA
- Candidates must pass a three-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised institute.
- Qualifying marks in the bachelor’s degree examination is specified below based on the social category of the candidate
- Unreserved Candidates: 50% aggregate marks
- SC, ST and Category-I of Karnataka Candidates: 45% aggregate marks
Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Part-Time MBA
- In addition to the Karnataka PGCET eligibility for a full-time MBA course, candidates must have a work experience of not less than three years as on July 31, 2022.
- The establishment or the workplace of the candidate must be within 40 KM radial distance from the institution he/she is seeking admission in.
Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for Government Seats
Candidates should have studied and passed from a government recognised educational institution located in Karnataka for a minimum period of seven academic years commencing from 1st standard continuously or in broken period and must have passed class 10th or class 12th from a government recognized institution located in Karnataka.
OR
The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination from Karnataka. In addition, either of the parents must have studied for a period of seven years in Karnataka
OR
Children of ex-servicemen who had declared a place in Karnataka as their home town at the time of joining the defence services. In addition, such candidates should have passed the qualifying exam from a University or Board located anywhere in India.
NOTE: Candidates are not permitted to round off the aggregate score.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Exam
Candidates must carry a hard copy of the Karnataka PGCET admit card on the examination day. KEA conducts the exam in an offline mode for admission into several PG level courses including MBA and MCA. The Karnataka PGCET exam for MBA will have as many as 100 MCQs from four different sections including Proficiency in English Language, General Knowledge, Test of Reasoning and General Intelligence, and Quantitative Analysis.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Exam Analysis
The Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam followed the pattern earlier announced by the exam authorities; hence, there was no surprise element in the paper. As per the teaching faculty of different coaching centres, Karnataka PGCET 2022 exam for MBA was easiest if compared to the question papers from past few exam sessions. The overall difficulty level of the test was easy to moderate. Among the sections, the test of Reasoning and General Intelligence was the easiest section, whereas General Knowledge was the toughest among the four sections. Quantitative Analysis and Proficiency in English Language sections were of moderate difficulty level.
