Total course fee of MBA and Super MBA programmes is INR 16.90 Lacs which includes tuition fees, AC hostel, mess and utility charges, development, administration fees, books and study materials and laptop, etc. The course fee is to be paid in instalments, semester wise. The institute offers scholarships to meritorious students and also assist in study loans through bank. The one-time payment amount at the time of admission is INR 1 lakh. The admission procedure of MBA at KIIT-SOM includes shortlisting of candidate on the basis of KIITEE-Management, Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT). The GD-PI and WAT rounds are conducted after the entrance exam result has been released. Candidates who clear KIITEE MBA entrance test, are eligible for the GD-PI and WAT. However, the selection will be made on the basis of every candidate’s academic record and KIITEE score.
MBA aspirants who have a valid score of CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT can also apply for KSOM MBA admission. Such candidates are not required to appear for KIITEE MBA and can directly participate in the GD-PI and WAT rounds upon selection.

The KIITEE MBA entrance exam is an institute specific entrance test. The score is accepted only by KIIT SOM for admission to its MBA Full Time and Super MBA courses. No other MBA institute accept KIITEE score for admission to post graduate programmes in management. So, those who wish to seek admission in any other B-School apart from KIIT SOM, must appear for the relevant MBA entrance exam as well. CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA. scores are also accepted for MBA admission at KIIT SOM.
The admission cut off will be announced by KIIT SOM at the time of WAT-GD-PI shortlisting. The KIITEE Management cut off will be fixed on the basis of exam difficulty level and performance of all the candidates. The KIITEE MBA cut off is usually around 80 percentile. After the declaration of KIITEE MBA result, the institute will conduct Group Discussion (GD), Writing Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) to select candidates for MBA admission. The final selection will be based on candidate's performance in GD, WAT and PI. The institute will share the schedule of GD, WAT and PI with selected candidates.
Candidates who will clear the KIITEE MBA exam and meet the desired admission cut off, will be called by the institute to participate in the WAT-GD-PI. For selection of candidates, the admission panel will also take into consideration, academic record such as class 10, class 12 and graduation marks. However, maximum points will be for entrance exam score and WAT-GD-PI.

KIITEE Management exam is conducted in online or computer based test mode at designated examination centres in 15 cities across India. The exam centres are allotted to candidates as per their choice of city. Candidates have to mention their preferred city for allotment of test centre in the KIITEE MBA application form.
In a computer based test, each candidate is allotted a computer system. They have to log into KIITEE MBA dashboard to access the test. They can read the question on screen and use the computer mouse to choose the correct answer from the options given under every question.
Candidates have to complete marking the correct answers within the stipulated time. There will be an onscreen camera indicating time left for the test window to close. Once the test window closes, candidates cannot make any entry.

The university allots a test centre to aspirants in the city of their first preference.
