ATMA exam date for the February session 2025 will be announced online. The ATMA 2025 exam will likely be conducted in the third week of February 2025 for the first session exam. The ATMA application form 2025 will likely be released in the second week of December 2024. 

ATMA exam will likely be conducted in four sessions for the academic year 2025-27. ATMA exam is conducted for admission to over 750 MBA colleges across India. Q:   What are the registration dates for ATMA Exam?

A:

ATMA application window 2025 for the first session exam will likely open in the second week of December 2024. The application window will likely be open for approximately two months. 

The schedule of every session of ATMA exam is usually released once the results of the previous session are announced. The application schedule will be announced on the official website of ATMA AIMS. The ATMA application process begins with ATMA application fee payment. Candidates need to submit their ATMA application form before the deadline. Candidates will have to choose the their preferred institutes they wish to apply for MBA, MS and MCA admissions through ATMA score. Candidates will be eligible for admission to only those institutes that they had selected in the ATMA application form.

Q:   Can I appear for ATMA exam more than once?

A:

Yes, candidates can appear more than once for the ATMA exam. ATMA is held three to five times a year and the scores of the last exam attempted would be considered for admissions to the colleges accepting ATMA scores. In 2024, the exam was conducted on February 18, 2024, May 25, 2024, June 23, 2024 and July 31, 2024.

The exam will only be conducted in the computer-based test mode for all the sessions. The difficulty level of the ATMA exam is usually easy to moderate and the candidates can easily prepare for this exam. Candidates who wish to appear for the ATMA exam need to apply on the official website of ATMA AIMS and fill out the ATMA application form after the application window opens. ATMA is held in over 100 test cities in the country which include Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities too.

Q:   In which month is ATMA conducted?

The ATMA test is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). ATMA exam is usually conducted three to five times a year. In 2024, the exam was conducted in four sessions, i.e.: 
1. February session 
2. May session
3. June session
4. July session
The ATMA exam for all the sessions will be conducted in the centre-based test mode.

Q:   What is the ATMA exam duration? Can I change my exam slot?

A:
The ATMA exam is held for three hours or 180 minutes. There is only one slot for the ATMA exam. ATMA exam has a sectional time limit of 30 minutes. This means, that the candidates will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 30 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically move to the next section. There is no provision of changing the exam slot. And there is no provision to apply for the same. Candidates will have to appear for the exam from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must make sure that they reach the ATMA exam centre by 1:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 1:30 PM.

ATMA 2025: Important Events

  • ATMA registration 2025: ATMA registration is an online process. The ATMA exam schedule is released on the official website of ATMA AIMS along with the ATMA 2025 application form.
  • ATMA fee payment: Candidates have to make a fee payment before filling out the application form. The application fee can be paid online only. Women candidates and candidates belonging to North-Eastern states can opt for a fee concession. 
  • ATMA 2025 form printing: Candidates need to take a printout of the application form and carry it to the ATMA exam centre.
  • ATMA admit card 2025 release: ATMA admit card will be issued to candidates who have completed the ATMA application process. The candidates can download their admit cards online until the day of the ATMA exam.
  • ATMA exam date 2025: ATMA is conducted 3-5 times a year. The February 2025 exam will likely be conducted in the third week of February 2025.
  • ATMA result date 2025: The ATMA result is announced within a week of the exam. The test takers can check their results and download the scorecard online.

Q:   Will the ATMA exam be conducted in double shifts?

A:

No, the ATMA exam is usually conducted in a single shift. However, in 2020, the ATMA exam was conducted in the remote-proctored mode in order to follow the social distancing guidelines for COVID-19, but the exam was still conducted in a single shift. ATMA exam pattern has not changed much over the years. ATMA 2025 exam will also be conducted in single shift for three hours, I. e. from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The shift timings for both the courses, MBA and MCA will be the same.

Q:   Where can I find ATMA mock test?

To understand the exam pattern and ATMA question paper, ATMA mock test is being conducted before the ATMA exam. The mock test will be available on the ATMA official website at least two days before the exam date. Candidates must know that it is mandatory for the registered candidates planning to appear for the ATMA exam to take the ATMA mock test. To know how to appear for the ATMA mock test follow the steps mentioned below: 1. Visit the official website of ATMA AIMS 2. In the topmost bar, click on Mock Test button 3. Candidates will be redirected to a new webpage 3. Login using the email ID and password which the candidates used to register themselves for the ATMA exam 4. After login, candidates will be redirected to a new window where they will have a set of instructions that they need to follow 5. Click on the tab indicating Mock Test 1 after reading the instructions carefully and take the test.

Q:   How can I crack ATMA in 6 months?

A:
ATMA is very much similar to any other entrance exam and can be cracked if time is managed wisely. Here are few tips to crack the examination provided limited numbers of days/months: Set your plan agile and keep buffer time for revision and solving mock test papers. Start with your verbal and quantitative practice in parallel. Six months can make or change the game, time management is very important at every single point of time till the final day and even on the day. Keep positive! Maintain a good balance between your accuracy and solving time. Be focused and calm. For the last month keep all the formulas and tricks handy and revise on a daily basis. Remember not to be emotional while solving or appearing for exam. Manage your time wisely. In short: - Make daily/weekly targets and pen down each - Revise the syllabus as per study plan - Solve previous year questions as per time frame guidelines of actual exam. This will give you a look and feel of actual exam - Manage your time well - Keep calm and stay cool

Q:   What is the eligibility for the ATMA exam?

A:
Any graduate candidate with a 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for the reserved category) can apply for the exam. Another important criteria is that the applicant must be a citizen of India. There is no age limit to appear for the ATMA exam. Candidates in the final year of graduation or are awaiting the results can also appear for the ATMA exam, and can present the mark sheet at the time of admission. For the MCA programme, candidates must have secured at least 50 per cent aggregate in BCA. The minimum age limit to apply for the MCA programme is 21 years and there is no upper age limit. Also, only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the exam. The candidates who do not match the ATMA eligibility criteria will but have filled the ATMA application form will be disqualified. Their application forms will be rejected. Therefore, candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form as the first step in the ATMA application process is fee payment and application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
