What after TISSNET 2023 Result?
After the declaration of the result, TISS will invite qualified candidates to appear in the online assessment round. Only those candidates who feature in the TISSNET cut off list will be called for the selection rounds. The final selection for admission will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in TISSNET 2023 and Online Assessment rounds.
Online Assessment and Online Personal Interview
Online Assessment and Online Personal Interview is a crucial part of the TISSNET selection process. The OA and OPI round will be conducted in online mode. The online PI was introduced in 2021 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the exam authorities have decided to retain the mode. Here you can expect questions about your profile, preferred course and reasons for opting for that course. The interviewers will judge you based on your interpersonal skills, thinking process, future goals and communication skills.

Tie-breaker in TISSNET result
In cases where two or more candidates obtain the same marks and creating the merit list becomes difficult, TISS simplifies the process by bringing in the tie-breaker. This involves a comparison of marks at different levels as mentioned below:
- The marks obtained in the Personal Interview will be compared. If the marks obtained by both the candidates in the PI round are equal, the marks secured in the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) will be taken into account
- If PIT marks are also equal, the entrance score will be compared
- If the scores are equal again, the candidate older in age will be given preference over the younger candidate.
