
UPESMET is an online entrance exam conducted multiple times a year. The entrance exam facilitates admission to MBA programmes offered at UPES, Dehradun. UPESMET questions paper is spread over four sections: General English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. To steer your preparation in the right direction, it is important that you choose your books wisely. Given the vast amount of study materials available in both online and offline mediums, it becomes little confusing for an aspirant to zero in on the best set of books available in the market.
No, UPESMET exam does not have sectional time limit to appear for the exam. However, students will be required to complete the exam in pre informed exam duration i.e, two hours/ 120 minutes and no extra time will be granted to the students under any circumstances. UPESMET is a computer-based online exam the test screen will move from first section to the next section only when the candidate clicks the next button. Candidates have to be mindful of the on-screen timer and pre-decide the number of questions to solve in each section as there will be negative markings. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in UPESMET exam so candidates can devise a strategy to use the exam duration as per their strength and weakness. Candidates must reach the exam centre at least an hour prior to complete the frisking formalities at the UPESMET exam centre.

UPES Management Entrance Test (UPESMET) is conducted for admission to MBA programme of UPES School of Business. UPESMET question paper will consist of questions four sections viz., English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Analytical Reasoning. The General English part will have questions from Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning and Verbal Ability. In the Quantitative Aptitude section, questions will be asked from Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency. UPESMET 2026 registrations have commenced online. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programme of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Business School must fill the online application form on or before the last date. UPESMET 2026 application form last date for upcoming session will be announced. Candidates filling the UPESMET application form 2026 must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria, failing which their candidature will stand cancelled. As per the UPESMET eligibility criteria, candidate must be a graduate with a required minimum percentage.
