Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 registration process started again on October 3, 2025. Earlier, the last date to register for AP NEET PG counselling 2025 was September 27, 2025. But authorities have enabled the registration link again. Students can access AP NEET. Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada (NTRUHS) is the counselling authority for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG 2025. The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 will be the gateway for admission to 50 per cent State Quota seats of MD, MS and MDS courses.

NTRUHS has released a list of NEET PG 2025 qualifying candidates from Andhra Pradesh, which accounts for 8,323. However, the counselling authority has stated that this is not the merit list, and it will be released after the completion of the registration process.

AP NEET PG 2025 Counselling process will be completely online, for the steps of registration, merit list release, choice filling and seat allotment result declaration. The last and final step, which is the institute reporting process, is conducted in offline mode, wherein candidates allotted seats have to visit the institute for document verification and complete the admission formalities.

AP NEET PG Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The Andhra Pradesh NEET PG 2025 counselling eligibility criteria are given below.

Candidate must have completed MBBS from an institute recognised by MCI
He/she must have completed the duration of the internship by July 31, 2025, as stated by NMC
For In-Service Quota seats, candidates should have rendered service up to April 16, 2025
Service candidates should not have completed 50 years as on April 16, 2025. Candidates born on or before April 16, 1975, are not eligible for In-service quota seats
He/she must be registered with MCI/SMC
He/she must have cleared NEET PG, with scores more than or equal to this year’s cutoff
Only those candidates who are domiciled in the state of Andhra Pradesh or have completed their primary medical qualification from an institute located in this state will be eligible for seats in the government colleges.

Candidates have to score the minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The cut off varies for different categories. NEET PG 2025 cut off percentile for the general category students is 50. Those who score less than minimum cut off for that category do not qualify for the exam. A merit list is released based on the cut off marks, comprising name of candidates eligible for the counselling rounds. It must be noted that NEET PG result is valid for that particular academic year only and it can't be used next year or so.

Online registration and application

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of Andhra Pradesh NEET PG 2025 have to register on the official website of YSRUHS. Candidates have to fill the application form for AP NEET PG counselling 2025 in online mode. Also, candidates have to pay a non-refundable registration fee to complete the application process for Andhra Pradesh NEET PG counselling 2025. This fee has to be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking.

Candidates who will complete their undergraduate medical qualification from a state other than Andhra Pradesh have to pay an additional fee or verification fee during the registration process. AP PG Medical 2025: Merit list

NTRUHS will release the merit list of candidates who will register online. This AP NEET PG merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in NEET PG 2025. Only those candidates who will be included in this list will be eligible to participate in the counselling process of AP NEET PG 2025.

Exercising web options and counselling

Candidates who will be included in the merit list of AP NEET PG counselling 2025 can enter their choices. They can choose among the colleges and courses provided on the official website, in decreasing order of preference. A seat allocation list will be published on the official website of NTRUHS, which will be prepared on the basis of the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled.

Reporting to the allocated institute

If a candidate is satisfied with the seat allocated to him/her and wishes to continue with it, he/she needs to report to the respective institute for confirmation of the seat. The last date for joining the institute will be communicated to the candidate through the letter of selection. If a candidate fails to report to the institute within the allotted timeframe his/her seat will be carried forward to the next round.
