AIIMS MBBS 2017 Results: Know Toppers
AIIMS MBBS 2017 results got declared on June 15. Along with the results, the names of exam toppers started pouring in from across the country. According to latest information, Nishita Purohit from Surat has topped the exam with an AIR(All India Rank) 1. Purohit, who scored 91.4% marks in the CBSE Class 12th board exams, is fond of basketball and is national level basketball player too.
The second rank and third rank has been bagged by Archit Gupta and Tomoghna Ghosh respectively. Nipun Chandra, Harsh Agarwal, Rishav Raj, Harshit Anand, Rinku Sarmah, Abhishek Dogra and Manish Moolchandani have bagged the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th rank respectively.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 exam was held on May 28 in online mode at 537 centers and 167 cities Indian cities. The exam is a gateway to admissions to more than 700 seats at AIIMS campuses located at Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh. While AIIMS Delhi has an seat intake of 107, the other campuses offer 100 seats each.
This year, approximately 3,64,242 aspirants registered for AIIMS MBBS exam while 2,84,737 candidates actually took the exam. Out of these, 150,793 were women candidates who outnumbered 1,33,933 male and 11 third-gender aspirants.
A total of 4,905 medical aspirants cleared the exam. 2,077 - out of these - were male candidates and 1,828 female aspirants.
