IIM Rohtak hosts Graduation Ceremony for 5th Batch of PGPx and ePGDSM

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak hosted the graduation ceremony for the 5th batch of its Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPx) and Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management (ePGDSM).
The ceremony was graced by a distinguished array of guests including Indian wrestler, actor, and motivational speaker Sangram Singh; Mukul Choudhary, CEO of Jamshedpur Football Club and Chief of Sports Excellence Centres at Tata Steel; and Rajkiran Kanagala, President and Chief Business Officer at TCI Group.

Addressing the gathering, Sangram Singh shared his journey in sports, emphasizing the importance of determination and focus. His motivational speech resonated with the graduates, urging them to stay committed to their goals.
Mukul Choudhary highlighted the growing significance of professional management in both the sports and corporate sectors. He underscored the need for skilled managers to navigate the complexities of today’s environments, stressing how effective management can drive success in these fields.
Rajkiran Kanagala offered valuable insights into leadership within the contemporary business landscape. He encouraged graduates to lead with vision and adaptability, crucial qualities for navigating the dynamic challenges of modern business.
PGPx and ePGDSM Programs: Preparing Future Leaders
The PGPx program at IIM Rohtak is tailored for experienced professionals, providing leadership and management education through a case-study-driven approach. This program is designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to excel in today’s complex business environment.
The graduating batch for the PGPx program included 64 participants from a diverse range of organizations such as the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Indian Oil Corporation, Tata Motors, HSBC, Infosys, Capgemini, Boeing, and Wipro.
The ePGDSM program also saw a remarkable cohort of graduates from organizations including Tata Steel, Indian Railways, Sports Authority of Goa, and SG Cricket. Notably, Shreya Saxena, who represented India at the 16th USIC World Railway Championship and secured an individual bronze medal, and Raghav Jamwal, who earned third place at the Grappling Asian Championships Astana 2023, were highlighted as outstanding achievers of the ePGDSM batch.
IIM Rohtak offers a full-time PGP/ MBA course for a duration of two years. The institute has been ranked under top 100 best colleges by NIRF for the Management category courses. As per the last two years' ranking report released by NIRF, the instiute has mananged to improve its position from 16 to 12. Further, during the IIM Rohtak MBA placements 2024, the highest package stood at INR 48.25 LPA. More than 237 companies visited the campus.
