Q: Is Aligarh University under CUET?

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University admission to most of the courses is based on CUET scores. Admission to AMU undergraduate courses including BSc (Hons.) Community Science, BA (Hons/Research), BVoc in Production Technology, Polymer and Coating Technology and Fashion Design & Garment Technology and BSc (Hons/Research) is completely based on valid Central University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) scores. From the academic session 2022, all the central universities along with a few state-deemed universities and private universities started accepting CUET scores for admission to their UG and PG courses.

Q: Can I know about admission to Aligarh Muslim University?

AMU Admission 2023 is open now. The last date to apply for UG and PG programs is March 19, 2023. Registrations for AMU B.Tech and B.A. LL.B. Programs will close on March 17. AMU Entrance Exam (AMUEE) 2023 will commence on April 30 and conclude on June 7, 2023. The entrance exam for popular courses such as B.A. B.Sc. And B.Com will be held on April 30 and B.Tech/BALLB entrance test will be conducted on May 14, 2023. Also, CUET UG 2023 registration last date has been extended to March 30. CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted from May 21 to May 31, 2023.

Q: Who is eligible for admission at AMU?

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. Talking about the minimum eligibility requirement for AMU UG courses, candidates must have passed the Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. AMU Admission Process and Important Dates 2026

The mode of Aligarh Muslim University course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and entrance scores. The accepted entrance exams are the AMU Entrance Exam, CUET, and others. Candidates willing to get admission must first visit the Aligarh Muslim University official website, which is www.amu.ac.in/. Select the course and pay the total application fee. Fill out and submit the application form with the required information. The documents that must be submitted at the time of physical reporting for provisional admission completion at AMU are as follows:

Migration/ transfer and character certificate from the last attended institution
Marks sheet of qualifying examination (with four self-attested photocopies)
High school certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth, and various other documents
