HITSEEE Application Form 2026: Registration (Open Till April 22), Application Process & Required Details

The documents required for uploading while filling the HITSEEE 2026 application form are photo, signature and mark sheet of Class 10 and Class 12 in the prescribed format. Check HITSEEE photo, signature and document uploading details in the table below.

HITSEEE application form can be submitted till April 22, 2026. Candidates can click on the link provided on the HITSEEE application portal, apply.hindustanuniv.ac.in/hitseee to apply for the exam. HITSEEE 2026 exam dates are from April 27 to May 2, 2026.

For verification, candidates need to bring their original documents and certificates during the HITSEEE counselling. Check below the list of documents that the candidate is required to carry during the counselling process:

• HITSEEE 2026 admit card
• HITSEEE 2026 scorecard
• Mark sheet of the qualifying examination
• Domicile Certificate
• Class 10 board certificate/any other certificate for age proof
• Caste Category Certificate for SC/ST
• Two the latest passport size, coloured photographs
• Payment by DD of INR 50,000 drawn in favour of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, payable at Chennai

The eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme is mentiond below:

Academic Stream:  An average of 50 per cent in Class 12/HSC/Intermediate or any equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board.

Vocational Stream: An average of 50 per cent marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical).
B.Tech (Bio-Technology) : A Minimum Average of 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

HITSEEE application form can be filled online. The admission portal to fill the form is apply.hindustanuniv.ac.in/hitseee. 

Yes, Hindustan University conducts two entrance exams at the university level, i.e., HITSEEE and HITSCAT for all the UG and PG courses. The HITSEEE exam is popularly conducted for BTech admission and it is conducted in two phases. The HITSCAT exam is mandatory for the rest of the UG and PG courses. For PhD admission, the university accepts admission through UGC NET/ GATE valid score.

HITSEEE is conducted for admission to BTech, BArch and BDes programme. It is an online entrance examination that is conducted every year in various cities across India. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes need to register online to appear for the entrance amination. The Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science takes into consideration those students who have passed their Higher Secondary Examination with commendable marks for admission. The university follows the eligibility criteria of UGC norms. 

The HITSEEE application form cannot be filled offline. The application form can be filled out only in online mode.

It is not necessary to send a hard copy of HITSEEE 2026 application form to the concerned authority. The candidates must submit the form only online. It is better to keep a printed copy of the completed application form for the reference of the candidates. 

HITSEEE application form is currently available on official website. Candidates must apply for HITSEEE before April 22, 2026. The HITSEEE application form will not be accepted after last date.

Candidates must pay an application fee INR 1200. Application fee can be paid online through credit card/ debit card/net banking.

Multiple-choice questions will be asked in HITSEEE exam to check students' proficiency in fundamental subjects, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, General Knowledge. The top scorers at national level will get a merit-based scholarship to do their graduate studies at HITS.

HITSEEE 2026 application form will be released on November 5, 2025. The last date to apply for the exam is April 22, 2026.

The photo and signature should be in JPEG/JPG format. The file size should be between 100 KB and 200 KB.
