IIIT Bangalore Admission: The International Institute of Information Technology, IIIT Bangalore is accepting applications for its research degree programmes: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and Master of Science (MS) by Research. Candidates have to visit the official website: pravesh.iiitb.net to apply for the IIIT Bangalore research programmes.

About IIIT Bangalore PhD & MS By Research Programmes 

The PhD program spans three to five years of intensive study, during which students will complete an original research project and defend their dissertation. Candidates have the flexibility to enroll as either full-time or part-time students.

The MS by Research is a four-semester program designed for students aiming to enhance their research skills in a supportive academic environment. The program emphasizes the development of advanced research capabilities, culminating in a master's thesis that demonstrates significant original findings. Many students in the MS by Research program are working professionals sponsored by their employers, including research scientists from esteemed organizations and government agencies. This program is exclusively available to full-time applicants.

IIIT Bangalore PhD, MS By Research Programmes Stipend

IIIT Bangalore offers a fellowship of INR 20,000 per month to full-time MS by Research students and INR 38,500 per month to full-time PhD students. Upon completion of the initial fellowship period, PhD students will receive a stipend of INR 43,500 per month for the remaining two years.
