MH CET Law Exam 2026: 3 Year LLB CAP Round 3 Final Merit List (Today), Cut-off & Top Colleges

MH CET Law (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell. Through the entrance exam, law aspirants will be shortlisted for admission to 10,860 seats (excluding management intake) for the 5-year LLB program and around 16,420 seats for the 3-year LLB course programmes.

The CET Cell released the MH CET Law exam Eligibility Criteria. Candidates needed to check the criteria shared below before they could apply for the exam. MH CET Law 3 Year Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check 3 Year LLB eligibility requirements below. 

• Academic Qualification: 3-year graduation degree
• Minimum Marks Requirement: 45% marks, but if belonging to the SC/ST category of Maharashtra State, then 40% marks, and if belonging to the VJNT, SBC and OBC categories of Maharashtra State, then 42% marks in aggregate.
• Age Limit: No age limit

MH CET Law 5 Year Eligibility Criteria

Students need to verify the eligibility criteria for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test MH CET Law 5 Years before they fill the application form. 

• Academic Qualification: Class 12th or equivalent qualification
• Minimum Marks Requirement: 45% marks, but if belonging to the SC/ST category of Maharashtra State, then 40% marks, and if belonging to VJNT, SBC and OBC categories of Maharashtra State, then 42% marks in aggregate.
• Age Limit: 20 years for General/Open Category Candidates. 22 Years for SC/ST and Candidates belonging to other reserved categories

Students in their class 12th or final year are also eligible to apply for Law CET Maharashtra if they provide qualifying documents at the time of admission.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, released the MH CET Law syllabus for the 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes in the MH CET Notification. The MH CET 5-year LLB syllabus has five subjects. These cover Legal Aptitude, GK and Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, English, and Basic Mathematics. The 3-year LLB syllabus skips Mathematics, so it has four subjects.

MH CET for Law exam pattern 2026 follows a computer-based, online format. The paper has 120 questions worth 120 marks. Candidates get 2 hours to finish the test. Each correct answer earns 1 mark. The MHCET Law application form was released on cetcell.mahacet.org. The application form can be filled only online. There is no way to complete application process offline. The application form is compulsory to fill to appear for this exam.
