MH CET Law 2025 Alphabetical List Vs Merit List
Individuals taking the MH CET Law exam for the first time often mistakenly consider the MH CET Law alphabetical list to be the merit list. However, there are notable differences between the two lists. Check out the differences between the MH CET Law merit list and the MH CET Law alphabetical list below:
- The MH CET Law alphabetical list is a document published to help candidates cross-check their personal details and marks/percentiles and report any discrepancies. These details will be used for admission, so candidates must thoroughly check all the information and request corrections from the exam authority if needed. In contrast, the purpose of the merit list is to inform candidates that they are eligible for admission.
- The alphabetical list includes the details of both candidates whose documents have been verified and candidates whose documents have not yet been verified. However, the merit list includes the names of only those candidates whose documents have been verified.
- Candidates can send grievances against the MAH CET LLB alphabetical list, but grievances against the merit list cannot be sent.
- If a candidate's name appears in the MH CET Law merit list, they are eligible for admission to the preferred law course through MH CET Law counselling. They will need to freeze an option from the list of colleges offered to them by the exam authority. If a candidate is selected in the alphabetical list, it does not guarantee admission to a law college.
