Among the 60 firms that participated in this cluster, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) emerged as the top recruiter, extending 9 offers to students. Other prominent recruiters included Adobe, Tata Steel, and Silver Consumer, each offering 5 positions.

Several large tech and enterprise companies also took part in the placement process, including Microsoft, Sprinklr, Salesforce, and Innovapptive under the enterprise tech and consulting cohorts. These firms are known for hiring the brightest talent in the industry, and their participation signals the growing demand for expertise in data analytics, cloud computing, and digital transformation.

Rising Demand in Niche Sectors: From AI to Renewable Energy

One of the notable trends in this year’s Cluster 3 placement process was the increased interest in niche sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), renewable energy, and green tech. Firms like Zaggle and Progcap emerged as new recruiters in the financial technology (FinTech) cohort, while Samsung Electronics and Boult Audio dominated the consumer electronics space, indicating the growing influence of technology-driven businesses in India.

Tata Steel, Suzuki Japan, and Saint Gobain were key players in the core manufacturing & infrastructure cohort, while new names like Forbes Marshall, Thyssenkrupp, and Italica Granito added a fresh dimension to this category. The banking and financial services sector also saw a rise in offers from firms like HDFC Ergo, Axis Bank, IIFL, and SMBC.
