IIM-A PGP Placement 2024-26: The summer placement process for the Post-Graduate Programme in Food & Agribusiness Management (PGP-FABM) at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has successfully concluded for the 2024-26 batch. The placements were conducted in a hybrid mode, with all 47 students securing summer internships for the period of April to June 2025, marking a significant milestone for the prestigious institution.

Diverse Industry Representation with Over 39 Companies Participating    

This year’s summer placement process saw participation from more than 39 companies spanning a wide array of sectors, reflecting the diverse skill sets and interests of the PGP-FABM batch. Key sectors represented include Management Consulting, Finance & Commodity Trading, Agri-tech, Food Processing, FMCG, ESG Consulting, and Agriculture Supply Chain, among others.

Some of the prominent recruiters for the 2024-26 batch include   Accenture, Ernst & Young (EY), Godrej Agrovet, BAYER, Nestle,United Breweries, DeHaat, IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances),PI Industries, Corteva, Mahyco International, and Grow Indigo. Additionally, several new-age recruiters made their mark, including Louis Dreyfus Company (LDC), Mapro, Husk Power Systems, Avanti Finance, Drools, and Srinivasa Farms.

IIM Ahmedabad Placements 2024: Sector-wise Distribution

The placements reflected a strong demand for students with specialized skills in both   Agribusiness and   Food Management. The sector-wise distribution of placements shows clear trends in the evolving job market for this unique program.

-   Management Consulting & Finance: Six students were placed in the   Management Consulting and   Finance & Trading cohort, showcasing a strong interest from leading firms in these areas.

-   Agri-tech & Agri Inputs: The   Agri-tech and agri-inputs sectors attracted 12 students, underscoring the increasing relevance of technology in the agricultural industry.

-   FMCG & Food Processing: Ten students were placed in   FMCG, and four in   Manufacturing & Food Processing, reflecting the enduring demand for expertise in the food supply chain.

-   ESG Consulting & Advisory: The   ESG Consulting cohort saw the placement of seven students, a testament to the growing importance of sustainability in business practices.

-   Alco-beverages & Other Sectors: A student was placed in the   Alco-beverages   sector, with placements also made in various other industry verticals, demonstrating the program's versatility.
