IIM Raipur inaugurates 5th Batch of Executive Master of Business Administration

The Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) program inauguration ceremony, held at the IIM Raipur campus, welcomed 145 professionals, including 40 female and 105 male aspirants, who are set to embark on this immersive course designed to elevate their leadership potential.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur inaugurated the 5th Batch of its Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA) program. The ceremony, held at the IIM Raipur campus, welcomed 145 professionals, including 40 female and 105 male aspirants, who are set to embark on this immersive course designed to elevate their leadership potential.

The event was graced by Dr Niharika Rai, HR Leader at Microsoft Security IDC, who served as the Chief Guest. The ceremony was also attended by Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, Director of IIM Raipur, along with other esteemed faculty members and staff, who extended a warm welcome to the new batch of eMBA participants.

During his address, Professor Ram Kumar Kakani, Director of IIM Raipur, spoke about the unique value proposition of the Executive MBA program. He said, “Our two-year Executive MBA program is designed to not only increase your knowledge base but also provide holistic development through exposure to international universities. The cohort this year represents a remarkable diversity of industries and expertise, which will foster collaborative growth. After these two years of learning, you will become an alumnus of IIM Raipur. Make the most of your time in these two years.”

Hybrid Learning Mode and Diverse Student Body

The 5th batch of the Executive MBA program at IIM Raipur is being delivered in a hybrid mode, combining the flexibility of online learning with in-person interactions. The program’s carefully crafted curriculum is aimed at professionals who aspire to take on leadership roles in the future. The average age of this year’s intake is 34 years, with participants coming from diverse industrial backgrounds such as insurance, finance, healthcare, commerce, automotive, and more. This broad mix of industries ensures a rich exchange of knowledge, fostering valuable networking opportunities for all participants.

Curriculum Designed for Holistic Leadership Development

The Executive MBA program at IIM Raipur blends various aspects of general management theories, soft skills development, and analytical methods. Real-world business scenario cases are integrated into the curriculum, ensuring that participants, ranging from junior to senior executives, gain practical insights for leadership in their respective roles. In addition to the core learning, the program includes two campus visits, each lasting 15 days, providing participants with the opportunity to interact with faculty, peers, and industry experts in person.
