IIM Ranchi Admission Process and Important Dates 2026

The mode of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit, written ability tests, personal interview rounds, and entrance exam scores. For admission to its flagship Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM/ MBA) and Executive MBA programmes, the institute accepts CAT scores. After the release of CAT results, the institute shortlists candidates based on their CAT scores, work experience, academic performance, and several other factors for the WAT and PI rounds.

Candidates must apply online for the CAT exam to participate in the IIM Ranchi admission process. CAT registrations usually start in August every year. Admissions to IIM Ranchi Executive courses are based on CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ GATE/ PGPWE Entrance Exam scores, followed by the WAT and PI rounds.
