The authority announced the allotment result for INI SS open round on February 21, 2026. Candidates allotted seats in the open round had to report to the institutes from February 23 to 28. The authority released the revised seat matrix for open round counselling online. Candidates qualified in the Institute of National Importance Super Speciality Entrance Test (INI SS) could participate in the counselling process.

AIIM Delhi announced the online seat allotment for Jan session counselling round 2 on January 20. Candidates had to accept the seats and report to the allotted from January 21 to 28. Round 1 INI SS Jan counselling commenced on December 20. Candidates could register for INI SS 2026 counselling by December 26, 2026. Seat allotment for INI SS Jan counselling round 1 was announced on December 29, and candidates had to accept the seat and report to the institute for admission from December 30 to January 6, 2026.

INI SS Counselling 2026 Process
Open round counselling for INI SS Jan session is over. INI SS 2025 counselling starts with online registration followed by declaration of online choices, seat processing, seat allotment result, and reporting. Registration can be done on the official website with login credentials. Candidates are advised to read the counselling information brochure before registration for seat allotment.
Registration
According to official information brochure, registration link is activated by AIIMS as per the dates and schedule. Candidates will find the link in MyPage and login with login credentials used during filling application form. It must be noted only registered candidates can declare choice for college and course.
Choice Declaration
Choice for INI SS counselling can be declared after logging with new password. for seat allotment. After logging, candidates will have to confirm their name and candidate ID. Thereafter click on declare choice button. To add choice, candidates have to choose institute and subject from two separate drop-down menus. Choices can be removed by clicking on delete button against that particular choice. Don’t forget to save the choice after rearranging/modifying the order of choice. It must be noted choices can be edited or their order can be modified as many times as they wish. Choice for college and course must be saved and locked in the given deadline.
Seat Allotment Result
INI SS seat allotment result is declared online based on declared choices and other factors such as INI SS merit, availability of seats etc. A separate result PDF is declared for each round of counselling. Candidates allotted seats in round-1 counselling, have to actively exercise below given options regarding participation in the next round of counselling.
Option 1: Candidates accept allotted seats and don’t want to participate in the next round
Option 2: Candidates accept allotted seats and provide willingness to participate in the next round of counselling
Reporting
Those who are allotted seats need to report in person in the given deadline. Reporting is compulsory whether someone choose option 1 or option 2. They have to submit original certificates or deposit INR 3 lakh as security which is refunded after submission of original certificates. If a candidate is allotted seat and he/she doesn’t report in that case he/she will not eligible to participate in next round except open round.

AIIMS announced INI SS 205 result for stage-1 written exam on December 1, 2025. Result was uploaded online in PDF format. Result PDF comprises the list of provisionally qualified candidates.
