NEET SS 2025 Cut off (Released): Check Group-wise Qualifying Cut Off Score

The NEET SS cut off is provided along with the result. Candidates need to check the cutoff marks on the NEET SS result/ merit list PDF. The cut off is published group-wise for all 13 groups for which the exam is conducted.

The NBE NEET SS cutoff 2025 has been released. The authority has released the cutoff marks separately for all groups. Have a look at the NEET SS 2025 cut off for all groups below-

The NEET SS cutoff 2025 was released along with the result. The cutoff went the highest for Microbiology Group, which is 389 out of 600.

The NEET SS cutoff rank 2025 will be released by the MCC after the counselling process is over. The cut off rank is prepared group-wise for different super specialities.

The NEET SS cutoff is segregated into two parts- NEET SS qualifying cut off marks and NEET SS admission cutoff rank. The qualifying NEET SS cutoff is prepared by the NBE and is the minimum percentile needed by a canddiate to be eligible for admission counselling process for DM and MCh courses.

On the other hand, the NEET SS admission cutoff is prepared by the MCC. It is the minimum rank required by candidates to take admission to a particular speciality and college.   

NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the NEET SS exam conducting authority, released the cutoff scores or the qualifying scores along with the result on January 23, 2026. Even though NBE announces the NEET SS qualifying percentile in the information bulletin, the exact qualifying marks, or the NEET SS cutoff is released on the day of the result declaration. 

A good score in NEET SS is around 450 -500 out of 600 marks. Candidates who are able to obtain around 450 NEET SS scores are considered good scorers. In 2025, the NEET SS AIR rank 1 got 533 marks out of 600. Thus, 533 are good scores in the exam.

No, revision of the NEET SS cutoff or qualifying percentile will not affect the rank obtained by the candidate in any way. However, in case the NEET SS cutoff is lowered, and more candidates qualify for the exam, then all those candidates will be eligible to participate in the NEET SS counselling process. Last year, additional rounds of NEET SS counselling were conducted since the cutoff was reduced later, to give equal scope to the newly qualified candidates of the exam. However, their merit positions or the All India Ranks did not change.  

It is up to the NBE or MCC to reduce the NEET SS cutoff. The reduction in the NEET SS cut off is informed by the authorities through a notice. The NEET SS 2024 cutoff was reduced to zero prior to the Round 3 counselling. Moreover, the MCC had reduced cut off for NEET SS by 20 percentile for each speciality in 2023 and 2022. 

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) or the exam conducting body for NEET SS releases the qualifying scores or the cutoff marks for each subjects along with the result. The highest NEET SS cutoff will be known after the results. However, the previous year trend shows that the cut off went the highest for the Respiratory Medicine Group, which was 365 and the lowest cutoff was for the group Orthopaedics, 254.

The NBE NEET SS result 2025 was released on January 23, 2026. The result has been published as a PDF containing the merit list of candidates shortlisted for Counselling process. The NEET SS cut off 2025 has been released with the results as well.

As of now NEET SS Round 1 has been released by the MCC. Based on the NEET SS 2023 Round 1 Seat Allotment result, the closing ranks ranged between 11 and 2342 for the Kerela University cutoff 2023. The University offers four DM courses and two MCh courses through NEET SS. It is DM in Paediatric Neurology with a closing rank of 11 and M.Ch. in Neuro Surgery with a closing rank of 2342. Some of the institutes don't accept NEET SS score for admission into DM/MCh courses. These institutes conduct their own entrance test for admission. The following Medical institutions are not covered for admission to DM/MCh courses through NEET-SS:

•  PGIMER, Chandigarh
•  JIPMER, Puducherry
• NIMHANS, Bengaluru
• Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram

As of now, for NEET SS cutoff 2023, Mop-Up Round Seat Allotment has been relased. Tabulated below are the closing ranks for Bharati Vidyapeeth NEET SS Round 1 seat allotment:

Utkal University admission to Super Specialty courses including various specialisations of DM and MCh is based on NEET SS scores followed by counselling. The MCC is to conduct the counselling up to two rounds. NEET SS Counselling 2023 is ongoing. As per NEET SS cut off 2023, the closing rank for Round 1 for DM in Endocrinology is 165, which is the most competitive rank of all the specialisations. Followed by DM Endocrinology is DM in Gastroenterology which stood closed at 603 post Round 1. Tabulated below are the closing ranks for Utkal University NEET SS Round 1 seat allotment:

The Gujarat University NEET SS Cutoff was released for admission to the DM and MCh courses. According to the Gujarat University NEET SS Cutoff for 2024, the cutoff ranged from 21 to 3999 for the General AI category candidates.

The most competitive DM course for admission was DM in Onco Pathology, with a cutoff of 21, and in the case of MCh courses, the hardest one was M.Ch. in Gynaecological Oncology, where 26 was the last round cutoff rank.

CSJMU NEET SS Cutoff 2025 will be released after the exam results get announced. In the meantime, according to the CSJMU NEET SS Cutoff 2024, the cutoff in the last round was 1651 for admission to the DM in Cardiology programme, and the cutoff for MCh in Cardio Thoracic and Vascular Surgery was 7734 for the General category students under the All India quota.
