  • SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate.

  • To appear in the BSc (Post basic) nursing exam, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution are eligible to apply.
  • In addition, the applicant must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council.
  • A mandatory six months of training as a registered nurse.

The AIIMS Delhi started the open round counselling registration on September 13, 2025, as there were vacant seats after the Round-2 AIIMS BSc Nursing Counselling. After the registration concluded, authorities released the seat allotment result on September 22, 2025.  The last date for the Online acceptance of the allocation/deposit original Document after the AIIMS BSc Nursing open round counselling result was September 27, 2025.

AIIMS nursing is an online exam which is conducted in computer-based mode. The BSc nursing entrance exam will be conducted carrying 100 questions of 100 marks (i.e. 1 mark for each question). Each section namely Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, will be of 30 marks each except GK section which will be of 10 marks. There will be a negative marking of -1/3 marks for choosing incorrect option.

Q:   When will AIIMS release the notification for B.Sc Nursing entrance exam?

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, will release the official notification for the BSc nursing entrance exam soon. Candidates willing to appear for the AIIMS BSc nursing entrance exam will find all important information, such as exam pattern, exam schedule, test cities, and much more, through the official notification.

Even though NEET UG scores are accepted for BSc Nursing (H), for admission to AIIMS Nursing courses, candidates must attempt and qualify for AIIMS BSc Nursing entrance exam. AIIMS Delhi has a separate entrance exam that grants admission to nursing and paramedical courses on the basis of the scores in written exam. Therefore, it is mandatory eligibility condition for admission in AIIMS institutes located in Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Rishikesh.

Q:   What documents are required to submit the AIIMS Nursing application?

Candidates must submit self-attested copies of their passport-size photo, signatures, and passing certificates of Class 12 and Class 10. Also, candidates must keep ready the PwD certificate, the reserved category certificate, if applicable. 

Q:   Can I apply for AIIMS B.Sc Nursing if I take math as a subject?
A: 

Yes, you can apply for AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing if you take Mathematics, provided you also have Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English in 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST). Biology is compulsory.

Q:   When will AIIMS update the accept or reject application status?
A: 

AIIMS Delhi will publish the status of AIIMS application forms (accept/reject) on the admission portal. Candidates were able to check the application status online through the AIIMS admission portal. Candidates need to login to the application portal and provide basic login details to find out the status of application. 

If the AIIMS application form gets accepted then the AIIMS admit card will be issued, and if the application gets rejected then no further process will be done. Candidature stands cancelled. 

Q:   Is AIIMS Nursing 2026 registration an online or offline process?

The AIIMS BSc Nursing 2026 application process will be done completely online. No offline application forms will be available at any AIIMS campus or bank branches. Candidates will have to apply for the nursing entrance test through the official website of AIIMS Delhi, aiimsexams.ac.in, or can directly reach bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in to apply for the BSc nursing exam. Before registering for the exam, candidates are advised to keep the following details ready

AIIMS Nursing 2026 application form process comprise of mandatory following two stages:

  • Stage 1: Basic Registration 
  • Stage 2: Final Registration

Basic registration is the first stage in which the candidates have to provide their personal details such as name, date of birth, email id, mobile number, scanned passport-size photo and scanned image of the signature and thumb impression. AIIMS will share a registration ID and a password with the candidate to conclude the Basic Registration process.  AIIMS has made it mandatory that the candidates won’t be able to proceed with the final registration process without generating the code and payment of an application fee.

Q:   How do I know if I am qualified for appearing in AIIMS Nursing 2026 exam?

The AIIMS Nursing 2026 was conducted in selected cities of regional centres as decided by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The list of test cities will be presented to the candidates at the time of filling out the AIIMS Nursing application form. Candidates will have to choose their preferred test city on the basis of first-come, first-served basis. Last year, AIIMS Nursing was conducted in 100+ test cities across India.

IIMS MSc Nursing 2025 test centres are decided by the exam conducting body, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The list of AIIMS MSc. Nursing test centres are released by the AIIMS Delhi at the official website.
