BHU BSc Nursing Registrations 2026 to Start Soon: Banaras Hindu University consider the NEET scores for its BSc Nursing course. The National Testing Agency has released the NEET 2026 results on July 16 and released the NEET scorecards. The BHU administration will soon notify the BSc Nursing Counselling Registration Dates on its official portal. The Re- NEET exam was conducted on June 23, and it has delayed the BHU BSc Nursing registrations for the academic year 2026-27.

It is organised and conducted by the Banaras Hindu University, Institute of Medical Sciences Department. The NEET UG 2026 scores are mandatory to apply for the BSc Nursing Course in BHU. Earlier, BHU conducted its separate entrance exam for granting admission to the BSc nursing programme. However, since 2022, candidates need to apply for the NEET exam to seek admission in BHU. The UP CNET exam is not acceptable for admission to the BSc nursing course offered by the institute.

BHU BSc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2026

To apply for the BHU BSc Nursing programme, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

1. The candidate should have qualified NEET UG exam
2. Only Indian Citizens can apply for admission to the nursing programme offered by IMS-BHU
3. The applicant should have passed the class or its equivalent from a recognized board or institute with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks (For general candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology)
4. The candidates belonging to the OBC Non-creamy layer/ SC/ ST category must have secured 40% in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) in 10+2 class.
5. The candidate should be 17 years old and not more than 25 years of age, as of December 31 in the year of the examination.

MCC will commence the nursing counselling process approximately a month after the NEET UG results are declared.
