Students will have to meet certain BSc Aviation eligibility criteria to be qualified for admission. However, it is to be noted that the b sc aviation eligibility may be different for various colleges.

Candidates can check below for BSc Aviation eligibility. 

  • Students who wish to pursue BSc Aviation courses are required to have passed Class 12 (or equivalent level of examination) from a recognised board with Physics and Mathematics as their core subjects.

  • Some colleges allow students to pursue BSc Aviation courses irrespective of their stream, provided that students from non-science backgrounds have to pass the Physics and Mathematics papers (of 12th standard) in their BSc I year, in addition to the core papers of BSc (Aviation Science).

  • Students who, after passing their Class 10, have undergone a three-year Engineering/Technology Diploma course with Mathematics and Physics as their subjects.

  • Students who, after passing Class 12 have a diploma in Information Technology/Computer Technology/Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical, Electronics & Video Engineering & allied branches/Mechanical & allied branches/ Chemical & allied branches/Civil & allied branches from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or any other recognised government body.

  • Few Colleges also have a lateral entry provision whereby the students already holding a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) or ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) can be admitted directly into the 2nd year of BSc in Aviation.

  • Age Limit: The Minimum age should be 17 years, while the maximum age limit is 24 years.
