BCECE Pharmacy counselling is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to BPharma and DPharma programmes. It is mandatory for the candidates to apply for the BCECE exam counselling to seek admission to the top pharmacy colleges of Bihar. Hence, those who want to take admission must attend counselling.
The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the rank card and the merit list. The BCECE counselling participation criteria is the basic merit scored in the entrance exam. All the applicants who were declared qualified as per the BCECE result had to further appear in BCECE counselling, and then their shortlisting will be done by authorities.
The BCECE counselling process will be conducted in both online and offline modes. The registration and choice filling processes have to be done online. After the seat allotment result is declared, students have to visit the institute for final admission.
BCECE BSc Nursing Counselling Process 2026
The BCECE counselling for BSc Nursing will begin in August 2026, after the result announcement. Initially, a seat matrix will be released for BCECE nursing admissions. The Bihar Nursing 2026 counselling process will be conducted online through the official BCECEB portal. Find out the counselling process to prepare for it in advance, before it begins:
- Release of Seat Matrix: Candidates must check the seat matrix before exercising the choice filling. Candidates belonging to the General category are advised to participate till 5000 rank in the counselling. The BCECE seat matrix will be released after each round of counselling for the BSc nursing programme. They can even fill other allied courses in addition to the BSc nursing programme.
BCECE BSc Nursing Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
- Choice Filling and Option Locking: After registration, candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses. Candidates are free to select as many colleges as they want. There is no restriction on selecting multiple colleges and courses. The choice filling for Round 1 will be open in August 2026.
- Seat Allotment Result: Based on rank, category, and choices filled, seats will be allotted in multiple rounds. Overall, three rounds of counselling will be held to fill the vacant seats. The round-1 allotment result will be released in the same month.
BCECE BSc Nursing Document Verification & Reporting
- Document Verification: Candidates must upload scanned copies of required documents (e.g., admit card, rank card, caste certificate, etc.). The category certificate must be submitted in the prescribed format as suggested by the state government. The date of issue of the certificate will also be provided by the conducting body. Candidates are advised to prepare all documents in advance to avoid last-minute hassles.
- Institute Reporting: Selected candidates would be required to report to the allotted college with original documents for final admission. Candidates who do not report within the stipulated time will be banned from participating in further rounds of counselling. The institute reporting for each round will be conducted separately, and then the next round will commence.
