Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET second round seat allotment result 2022 at the official website. Applicants can check their KCET seat allotment result through application number and password. Earlier, KCET seat allotment 2022 for round 2 was scheduled to be released on November 21. KEA had commenced the KCET 2022 round 2 web option entry at the official webiste. Applicants could complete the KCET round 2 choice fillig till November 19. Earlier, the authorities has released the KCET first round seat allotment result at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants appearing for the counselling process can check the KCET round 1 result 2022 through their application sequence number. Candidates can exercise their KCET round 1 seat allorment options from October 28 to 30. Earlier, the exam authority has released the KCET 2022 mock seat allotment has been released at the official website. The authorities had allowed candidates to make changes in preferences of KCET option entry from October 21 to 26. KCET 2022 revised counselling dates for the first round have been announced by the KEA. Option entry by eligible candidates in the order of preference started on October 14 and was concluded on October 19. The revised counselling schedule for KCET 2022 first round is updated on this page.

The process of document verification started on October 7, 2022 and students could get their documents verified till October 8, 2022. Candidates who have not verified their documents till date can also appear for the verification process on October 11, 2022, with all the necessary original documents.

The first round Provisional Seat Matrix was released by KEA on October 10, 2022 and Provisional Fees structure on October 11, 2022. It includes the total number of seats offered by Karnataka's participating engineering and agriculture colleges. The seat matrix of KCET 2022 is one of the factors affecting the KCET cut off. Lesser the number of seats, the higher the cut off for the year. KCET 2022 document verification was held in three sessions. It was started on August 22, 2022 and concluded on September 7, 2022. The whole schedule of document verification is available on the official website at kea.kar.nic.in. 

The Karnataka Examination Authority released the revised rankings of the KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) on October 1, 2022. The revised UGCET results have been released as per the orders of the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka. The revised KCET 2022 results are available on the official website at karresults.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The direct link is also provided below to check the result. This year, around 2.2 lakh candidates took the KCET 2022 examination. The examination was held between June 16 and June 18.

Around 210829 students are seeking admission to professional courses and appeared for the exam conducted by KEA. The result was announced on July 30, 2022. The results were available at kea.kar.nic.in, karresults.nic.in and cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates checked their obtained scores through the KCET result 2022. Along with the results, KCET 2022 final answer key has also been made available online. Apoorv Tandon from National Public School, Yelhanka has secured the first rank in KCET 2022. 

KCET 2022 was held from June 16 to 17 for admission to various courses offered by the public and private institutes in the Karnataka state. The exam was conducted offline wherein one hundred eighty questions were asked and the maximum mark is one hundred eighty. What is KCET?

Karnataka Common Entrance Test commonly known as KCET is regulated by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). It is conducted for admission to professional courses like Engineering Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharma), Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharma), Agriculture courses (Farm Science) and Veterinary courses. Candidates who desire to take admission to Medical or Dental or Ayurveda or Unani or Homoeopathy courses must qualify National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam whereas candidates seeking admission to Architecture course through KCET must have qualified JEE Main Paper-2 or NATA to participate in KCET counselling.

Candidates can now check KCET result 2022 online. To access the result, the candidates will have to log in to their account by using the login credentials. KEA will not share the result through email or post. Qualified candidates will be called for appearing at the counselling.

KCET 2022 Answer Key

The official KCET 2022 answer key has been published online separately for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Candidates will be able to calculate their probable marks and rank after matching their response with KCET answer key 2022. The answer key comprises the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Candidates could raise objections online until June 25. After resolving the objections, KEA have released the final answer key along with the result. 

KCET 2022 Application Process

The application process incorporates several stages like registration, filling out the application form, fee payment, uploading required documents and final submission. Candidates should fill correct details in the KCET application form 2022 otherwise their application would be liable for rejection. KEA will accept the application form of eligible candidates only. BE/BTech

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for reserved category)

Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)

Candidates should be a pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 and obtained minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects (40% for reserved category).

BPharma

Passed in 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and obtained minimum 45% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects. (40% for reserved category candidates) or

Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates)

2nd Year BPharma

Candidates should have passed Diploma in Pharmacy examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured minimum of 45% marks. (40% for reserved category candidates)

DPharma

Candidates should be pass in 2nd PUC / Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR

 

Passed in Diploma in Pharmacy examination from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.

Naturopathy & Yoga

Candidates should have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible for admission to Naturopathy & Yoga courses (40% for reserved category candidates).

KCET 2022 Syllabus

The syllabus is prescribed by KEA keeping the level of candidates in the focus. KCET syllabus encompasses chapters and topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology from PUC-I and PUC-II (Class 11 and Class 12) as specified by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State. KCET 2022 Admit Card

KEA released the admit card on June 02. Candidates who have filled out the application form successfully can download their KCET admit card 2022 by using their login credentials. The admit card will be required for appearing in the exam. Without admit card, no candidate can ingress inside the exam hall. It assimilates details related to candidates as well as exams such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, exam venue, etc. Candidates must preserve it until the admission process concludes successfully.

KCET 2022 Question Paper

KEA will release the KCET question paper 2022 PDF after a few days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates can use the question papers to get an idea of the types of questions, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. They can download KCET previous years’ question paper and practice it to get an edge in the examination. Practising questions will make them familiar with the type of questions asked and hence they can solve them in the exam without any difficulty.

KCET 2022 Cutoff

In order to qualify the exam, candidates have to qualify KCET cutoff 2022. However, the cutoff for engineering admission was not released in 2021. Candidates were admitted based on merit. The cutoff marks are decided by the admission authority based on various factors like no. of candidates who appeared in the exam, seat availability, etc.

KCET 2022 Counselling

The counselling is being organized by KEA to complete the admission process. Eligible candidates are called for participating in KCET counselling 2022. The counselling procedure comprises various stages like document verification, registration, choice filling, choice locking and seat allotment.

Yes, it is possible. There are many ways to join B.Tech. In private colleges we have to pay amount for seats. For government seats we have definitely qualified the CET exams.

I had scored 296/300 in PCM and 162/180 in CET. My rank was 224, I was the last but one (penultimate) person to get the seat in general category (I guess the last rank to get in was around 245). This was during the year 2017 so I guess you need to get above 165/180 and 290+ to guarantee a seat.I ...I had scored 296/300 in PCM and 162/180 in CET. I got my seat in second extended round. There is one more round but it is very risky to get seat at that time, you should have already joined a college by then.
Also note that in cases of tie math subject has more weightage than the others, however it's not very important.
