Amidst Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown, Tripura University has decided to not conduct TUET 2020 entrance exam. The admissions will be done through merit lists prepared for different courses on the basis of marks secured by the applicants in their qualifying examinations. The last date of application for TUET or Tripura University Admissions 2020 is June 30.
The official notification released by Tripura University regarding the same is as under:
The Tripura University Entrance Test 2020 (TUET) scheduled for this year may be cancelled in view of the uncertainty prevailing over the country due to COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of TUET, Admissions shall be made on the basis of a Merit List prepared on the aggregate marks of the Qualifying Exams up to 5th semester in case of 3 yrs Degree Course, up to the 7th semester in case of 4yrs Degree course and the marks of H.S (+2) Exams for IMD Course. In case of already passed out applicants, the aggregate of all the semesters shall be taken into account for the preparation of the Merit List. All the applicants who have already submitted their applications will be asked to upload semester wise marks of all their preceding Exams (up to 5th semester in case of 3 yrs Degree Course, up to the 70' semester in case of4yrs Degree course and the marks of H.S (+2) Exams for IMD Course).
For postgraduate courses, candidates should have completed their qualifying degree examinations and passed all semester's examinations. All the mark sheets in support of eligibility need to be submitted at the time of admission.
